Favorite Disney Tours?

My husband and I are doing a solo trip in February and are looking for something *extra* to do. Does anyone have any ideas or experiences with the extra tours? We were looking at the one in Animal Kingdom.. What was worth the cost to you?

Keys to the Kingdom is the best, by far. I have done it twice now. Backstage one @ AK was decent-ish. Undiscovered Future World wasn't really all that great for the money. Behind the Seeds is definitely a great value!

I did the Segway tour at Epcot which I really enjoyed. I also did the DiveQuest at Epcot but obviously you need to be dive certified before you can do this tour. I would definitely do both tours again.

I loved the From Seed to Plant tour at Epcot. It was really reasonably priced and very interesting!
I also was privileged enough to be able to participate in the VIP tour when we went in October. I loved it, but it's crazy expensive.

Which tour are you talking about in AK ? I have done all that are offered there ( my favorite park ) and all were wonderful

If you are talking about the Wild Africa Trek it was absolutely amazing and worth every dollar I can't wait until I can do it again

DH and I did the segways in Epcot and Dolphins in Depth in Epcot and both were amazing! Loved every minute if both of them!

Yes! Wild Trek.. I was just wondering if it was worth the almost $200 extra per person to do, because it seemed like a lot. Makes it very tempting to hear that so many loved it though!

I think we will definitely do Behind the Seeds, and are still tottering between the rest..

Here are some of the things DW and I like to do and some of them are no or low cost:
It also, depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, fishing, RPDE, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour
