Favorite Disney Book...

I am just sitting here reading through "The Little Big Book of Disney" which I picked up during my last WDW visit, and I was thinking that I'd love to know what others favorite Disney books are. I love to read up on Disney; It's the best way to find out all those little details and I'm always looking for new material.

So, my two favorites are:

"Vinyl Leaves: Walt Disney World and America" by Stephen M. Fjellman
-and-
"Walt Disney Imagineering : A Behind the Dreams Look At Making the Magic Real" by The Imagineers

The latter I'm sure we've all seen. So, what are your favorite Disney books?

I loved "An American Original" and just out of morbid curiosity, I read "Hollywood's Dark Prince", which was a very negative book about Walt Disney. I found it to be interesting, but it didn't change my view that Walt was an amazing man and even with his faults, he created something that we'll never see the likes of again.

"An American Original" that was about Walt I'm guessing? I haven't read either, but I'd probably be like you and pick up the second just out of curiousity. I've also been tempted to read some of the Christian books up that analyze Disney just to see what they have to say.

Yes. An American Original is a very good biography of Walt. Well written, lots of detail. I've read quite a few and liked this one best.
