Agree that the discounts and perks are not guaranteed and can/do change. Not a good idea to base any portion of your purchase decision on the perks.
My favorite is the AP/PAP discount. Am now also very fond of the 20% discount on most of the restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin resorts. Since they are not included on the Dining Plan and we stay in the EPCOT Resort area, those options are wonderful. We just walked over and got seated immediately. Food was good (we liked FRESH especially) and service excellent. Discount applied to all meals, not just lunch at the restauratns that honored it.
We purchsed in 2000 when the AP discount was not offered, so our decision was made without that consideration, and have never looked back.
And with that being said, we still truly appreciate the AP discount -- that is $500 annual savings for our family. EMH and ME are probably next up, and followed by the DDE.
The AP discount is great - helps us go more often. I hope they keep this perk around for a long time. However, we did not buy DVC because of anything other than the future use of the resorts - as others have said, that's the best "discount" of all.

We just returned from a week at SSR. In the check-in folder was a booklet called Perks... there was a list of all the discounted restaurants in that booklet.. along with other discounts/deals. Most seemed to be either 10% or 20%. Nine Dragons at EPCOT was 20% for example.
I'm not sure where else you can get that booklet. You might try calling your DVC rep and asking for one or maybe a resort front desk. I could try to scan the one I have. But it does change.
