Favorite Crew Member?

Sorry MJ, I misread your quote! I stand corrected!

I had ot put my two cents in.

Started with very poor servers- the server's name began with an S-from India, assist server-Zita-she needed a major attitude adjustment-never refilled water, never cleared the plates, never refilled drinks. After our table mates complained Christophe offered to move us to another table. Thank You Christophe!!! We loved our servers Inyo from Bali and Kendell from Trinidad/Tobago! We can't say enough about them. Met several other servers that we loved even though they weren't ours...Vicki form England, Laurenzo from Italy...He took good care of our new Dis friend Darren.

Palo's-Krisian from Croatia for brunch, Salvatore for dinner...Loved them both. It would be hard to choose a favorite.

Jess-entertainment/activities/dance instructor etc... She has the patience of a saint when it comes to teaching two left feet how to dance.

Ellen-going from morning to night with boundless energy entertaining us all!!!!

Captain Tom-needs to loosen up a bit! Sails the ship well but really appeared in pain when he had to meet and greet people.

Lat but not least-Carlos our room host. We love him!

Ancell , our server...he didn't speak much, but he was very efficient. Plamen, our assistant server...great!!

Serena from Mickey's Mates - very nice
Clare from Treasure Ketch - unbelievably nice, my 6 yr old loved her

Gabriela from Palo - excellent and very knowledgeable

and of course, Erika from Palo - she didn't serve us this past cruise, but stopped by our table to say hi and chat...

Thanks for sharing guys (gals?), it's nice to relive some of our best memories. We had Ellen and Jess on our cruise. Didn't really get to know Jess but she seemed nice. Her mom was on the ship that week which was neat.

We really didn't like our servers that much. They didn't have bad attitudes but we never really felt comfortable with them. They always seemed hurried and busy.

We didn't go back to Palo this time because last time, we felt weird going without our kids. However, so many have mentioned how nice it is there, that I guess we'll try it again next time.

It's a shame, there are a lot of bar servers who are really nice, but we don't really remember their names.

Keep those memories coming!!!

I just wanted to thank the person that started this thread. Just seeing how many Crew Members made so many vacations magical reinforces my thoughts that the Disney Cruise is the BEST vacation in the world!

Ian's last day was Friday. It's my understanding that he will be back in 6 weeks.

Robin is definitely back until around Valentine's Day.

April is there. Ellen is there. Luigi is there.

As for servers, my special thank you to Roberto, who kept my daughter entertained throughout dinner with crayon puzzle mind bender games!

Also thanks to Marco in Palo for showing me the best wine ever. I ended up getting 3 bottles of it on the cruise! (now I just have to find it at home!)

I can't even begin to thank everyone. Our room hostess Sunny was great, as were our Head Server Stephanie, our server Pele, and assistant server Roberto.

Everyone on the ship was just incredible! Can't wait to return next year.

Sue Ellen

Also just got back from our "magical" vacation. Our server Aleksandar and assistant server Glendene were wonderful! They paid special attention to our kids and pampered the adults! Also our room steward Allan was great, he even left an extra "midday" towel animal one day. We had two connecting cabins and would often find different towel animals in each cabin. He even made some out of the spare blanket. I don't have names, but every CM I meet from the Merchandise shops, Shutters, the spa to Topsiders Buffet, was great.

Thanks for the updates. I'm sad to hear that Ian is leaving for a little while. Almost everyone who writes a trip report mentions Ian. He has amazing enthusiasm.

Okay........who has made some magic on recent Magic cruises????..................thanks to all for the great feed back!:bounce: :jester: :bounce: :jester: :bounce:

I just got back from the same cruise as SueEllen and NJFamily. Our server Zoran from Hungary was brilliant. He gave us his reccomendations from the menus and he seemed to have tried every single thing on every single menu! Our assistant server was Leeroy from Jamaica and was the most laid back guy ever! He did magic tricks whilst we ate desert every evening and had us in stitches.

Our room hostess was Kristina from Croatia, she was lovely. The day we got the monkey as our towel animal we turned it into a ghost and put the pumpkin (halloween cruisers will know what i mean) on the next day as its head. She thought it was really funny.

One thing I noticed was that everyone said hello to you as you walked past.

We cruised in August and Ian was great. He told me that he is going to come back on board in December and his family is joining him for Christmas on board!

We had Zoran when we cruised last November. Glad to know he's still around. I hope he'll still be there in July. He was wonderful. You're right about the suggestions, we were never disappointed. On that cruise, we had Yan as our assistant, who never let my iced tea glass go empty.

Yeah, we're hoping he will still be around next October when we cruise again. Did he say things like "How is first bite? delicious?" and "Tonight I have for you, it is very very good..." By the end of the week they'd become catchphrases on our table!

Hi Emma!!!

Our servers were not a regular team...but they were amazing!!! Depesh from SOuth Africa and Istvan from Hungary who just got back on board from his time off.

Then we saw Giorgio from our last cruise and we would go find him for lunch and of course Salvatore in Palos!!!!!!

Glad to see some familiar names already listed.

Erika at Palo--wonderful!
Trevor, Luigi, and Ian were a riot.
Christophe--so personable, enthusiastic, and approachable.
Last but definitely not least, David and Vicki, the fabulous Brits who made every dinner a pleasure (enjoy your well-deserved time off!)

Thanks to all the other crew members whose names I don't know--you gave us a truly magical vacation.:)

We had Zoran back in august as a server. he was paired with vicky morris though. both of those names we remember in our house. Zpran was great!

Thanks to all for your posts! Keep the Magic alive!!!!:Pinkbounc :jester: :Pinkbounc :jester: :Pinkbounc

Some folks never see their head server. On the October 5-12 Magic our head server was Zouhaer (spelling?) from France. He was great. We were nearly the last table left at the early seating every night. He would come over and do great magic tricks to entertain the kids. Wawan, the assistant server also knew a few. While dinner was often loud and hectic, this respite after was great! Thanks to Zouhaer, Nalin and Wawan.

We also had awesome head servers! Karoly from Hungary and then we had Gonzolo at our other meals. They were great!!!!!!!!!

Any updates with someone just back?

Sami

He ran all the way from deck 9 forward to the med ctr deck 1 aft to fetch me some Tylenol. He asked why I wasn't smiling and my mother pipied up that I had a headache and w/o saying anything more then, wait here, he was off. Very considerate.
