Favorite Concierge?

We are planning a trip for the last week of September. We are two adults and one 3 year old boy. We have been to Disney several times and stayed concierge at the RPC at the GF and also CL at the WL. We are looking to do more relaxing this time instead of commando touring so am looking for opinions on which concierge has the best check-in experience, best food offerings, most relaxing atmosphere, and nicest club level staff. We are not against splitting our stay since we are staying 8 nights but would like to spend at least 4 nights near the MK since that is our son's favorite place.

I voted for "other" because we just returned from AKL (last night) and the concierge was GREAT!!! We had stayed at Poly concierge on an earlier trip and thought the service was pretty bad. AKL is our favorite resort, and now our favorite concierge!

We simply love the BWI Innkeepers Club. The location is great, fireworks view from the lounge, and the CM are the best.

We are partial to the YC/BC Concierge. The CM's are great and overall feeling of relaxation can be found in the lounges....

I would definitely stay AKL, but had a recent not so good experience at WL. There have been a few really good reports on BWI....my vote, AKL/BWI split stay.

Recently returned from BWI Poly LVC and AKL concierge. Loved poly--saw wishes from lounge, our room, beach. Our boys 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 loved the pool and lounge. You cannot beat the convenience either. That said we went to AKL next and were absolutely blown away by the personal service and absolute best concierge offerings. We gave up shopping at DTD to hang out at the resort. They also have an amazing amount of kids activities too. I would do both, you will get the best of both worlds. You'll have a wonderful time wherever you stay!

I voted "other". Why? Beach Club concierge!!! If you are there to do more lounging and less of everything else, this is the place. The staff is great! The food offerings are some of the best on property. You can't beat the pool at the Beach Club. Kids and adults alike will be comfortable there. We love the AKL concierge, and the Poly is good too, but none compare to the Beach Club.

I have only stayed concierge at Poly,AKL & Cont. IMHO AKL CL is the best. I also enjoyed the poly CL . We split stayed between Poly CL and AKL CL. If I may suggest start at the Poly , AKL will blow you away and its more relaxing. A nice way to end a trip.

Also, the BWI CL is awesome.
I feel that the AKL and BWI both have the most wonderful CMs on property.

I voted for the split stay between AKL and the Poly. We did this last year and are doing it again in about 10 days so I am also voting with my feet (and wallet!). You mentioned that you want to spend a few days near the MK, and the Poly is a great choice, with it's wonderful view across the lagoon to the castle and of course it's easy monorail access. You can view the EWP and Wishes in air-conditioned comfort if you so desire (no bugs!). It is also the most kid-friendly lounge, IMHO. AKL is also a wonderful place to stay, and I am sure your son will love the animals. The staff are great and so is the food (the best of all the CL's we have tried (IMHO again) and we have tried most of them...).
