Just thought I would get others opinions on their favorite Character meal. Mine is a toss up between CRT and Akershus. Both are for the simple reason that my then DD3 just lit up when we got there. I voted for Akershus since they had Mulan and that was DD favorite. Vote based on whatever you feel, price, food, or atmosphere.

I voted for "other" since I've only been to 'Ohana for b'fast. But our next trip, we will be trying Akershus for dinner, and possibly Chef Mickey or LTT, too. So we might change our minds after November!

'Ohana was great, though. DD was 3 at the time, and Goofy picked her up and carried her around, Chip and Dale had a "fight" over her, and Mickey was good, too! Lots of interaction, and the kids parading around the restaurant was fun, too!

We love Garden Grill & Liberty Tree Tavern.

Chef Mickey's is fun to.

Oh I love them all! :rotfl2:

But I voted for Garden Grill because that is in my top 2.

Favorite overall is Garden Grille, closely followed by the Mary Poppins character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.... yum, yum!!!!

I voted for Garden Grill. It was tough to decide between that one and 1900 Park Fare (which is great for breakfast or dinner). The character interaction is great at both. What I really like about Garden Grill is the food and the fact that it's family style so you're not running to the buffet table all the time. It's also nice to sit in a booth for a character meal instead of being surrounded by other tables at all the others.

I'm glad to see that so many have voted for Chef Mickey's. We are planning to go there in May. I voted for CRT. Without a doubt my favorite memory from our May 2004 trip. The atmosphere is pure Disney and the food was excellent.

I selected Chef Mickeys for the same reasons the OP chose his...my DS3 just lights up when he knows we're going there.

We also love Garden Grill - what a wonderful place! And the ice cream social is a great way to have DS interact with his Mickey Mouse if we don't feel like a whole meal.

Crystal Palace because I love Winnie the Pooh. :) I also loved the selection of food and our server was so friendly. Besides you get to go into the MK early!

I voted for donald's, but crystal Palace is a very close second. We've also had and enjoyed CRT, 1900 PF and H&V(really had that it is gone).
The only character meal we will not return to is Chef Mickey's.

It also has the best atmosphere--such a bright and cheery place to begin the day.

I voted other - we love the character dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern!

I vote for the Crystal Palace. Make PS as early as possible on mornings there is not early morning. You get into the park before opening. CP also has the best food.

We really enjoy 'Ohana. The kids get to travel around in a parade (which they loved) and you can't beat family style dining with young children - plus we never had to worry about missing the characters while we refilled.

We enjoyed LTT a lot, too. It kind of had a "small restaurant" feel to it which was nice for a change. :wizard:

We haven't disliked any of the character meals, but since Crystal Palace is the only on with Pooh and friends, that got my vote.
