I hate to admit it but my favorite cake is a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, Duncan Hines sure know how to make me happy! Do you have a favorite cake?

Red Velvet! Put a whole red velvet cake in front of me and I'll scarf it down like there's no tomorrow

There's probably not too many times I've turned down any cake, lol. But if I were to make a cake, I'd have to say my favorite is yellow cake with chocolate butter cream frosting. Luckily, it's also my family's favorite so I don't have a chance to eat the whole thing!

Oh gosh, I love all kinds of cake! If I have to choose just one kind... Black Forest! Mmmmm, could go for a piece of that right now!

Chocolate Creme Cake & Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake

The cheesecake served in the "Animator's Pallette" (sp) aboard the Disney Magic cruise ship is the single greatest culinary invention known to mankind.

I will not argue this :teeth:

AMARETTO CAKE:

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 (5.1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.

2 In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, instant vanilla pudding, water, oil, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons of the amaretto; blend together well. Pour batter into the prepared pan.

3 Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean. Remove cake from oven and while it is still warm, poke holes in the surface. Drizzle with the Amaretto Glaze, insuring that some of the glaze fills the holes. Let the cake cool for at least 2 hours before removing from the pan.

4 To make Amaretto Glaze: Sift the confectioners' sugar, and combine it with the remaining 1/2 cup amaretto. Blend until smooth. You may add more amaretto as needed

I'd have to go with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting too. YUM!!!!!!

It's a chocolate based cake, but the mayonnaise gives it a diffrent texture and flavor. It's a big family fave. I recommend it!

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake
2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sift together the flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Cream together the sugar, mayonnaise, water and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture; stir until well blended. Pour batter into greased and floured layer cake pans (or a 9- x 13-inch pan). Bake at 350°F. for about 25 minutes
