What are some of your favorite books? Also does anyone else but me have a summer reading to do for school?

i have a summer reading list but i only have to read like 2 books but they r really boring

i have three books to read. So far, i've bought two, and they actually sound pretty interesting.

4 books, last year entering high school it was 5 books, and autobiography, and tons ogf camparative essays. one book was the Odessy. i think i almost passed out while reading it, it was so bad

i like the lord of the rings trilogy and the hobbit

I have to read Jane Eyre which i'm halfway down with and the other two i chose to read from the list is Animal Farm and Farhenheit 451 which i'm going to read going on the plane to florida.
My fave books are Confessions of a Shopaholic Series.
Anyone know any other good reads?

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is awesome, So are the Princess Diaries books, i am addicted to the. The Mates, Dates, and... books are really good too!

i'm glad there's no summer reading list that we have to do... not that it would be a prob, since i read so often, it's just most of the books on lists like that are boring.
My fav books we've read in school have been Of Mice and Men and To Kill a Mockingbird, but everything else was boring.
Outside of school, i <3 the Princess Diaries series, the Gossip Girl series, the SVH:Senior Year series ((have read ALL 49 books in that series!)), Shattering Glass, Give a Boy a Gun, and other stuff i forget the name of them...

yeah, we have to read four books (And Then There Were None, Killer Angels, A Blue Avenger Book, and The Martian Chronicles) and after that we have to write a short story of 600 words or more...:scared:

:p

At the moment I'm reading Easy Riders Raging Bulls by Peter Biskind. It's about how cinema changed in the '70s, and absolutely fantastic, very gossipy, which is always good :o I'd recommend to anyone with a vague interest in film.

Before that I read Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, which is brilliant too.

PigSoldier, you live in London?! How lucky are you! I've always wanted to go to London and Paris. I'll get there eventually. Ok, my favorite books are, of course, the Harry Potter Books, especially number 4 and 5. The Hobbit is my favorite, and of course the Princess Diaries. It's a tie between HP and The Hobbit. I just realy like Princess Diaries. I can't wait for the movie to come out, it looks so funny!

I have to read this summer: The great Gatsby, Of mice and men, and A river runs through it or Their eyes were watching God.

outside of school: I am a Harry Potter fanatic :flower1: and I loved To Kill a Mockingbird
