Father's Day 2021

Looks like it might be the year of the slippers. Being home so much from Covid has worn out a few pairs in my family.

I scored a great deal for Uggs mens slippers today at Macy's for $39, usually $69.99 but on sale for $49 and I had $10 Macy's Money, according to my college age son they are amazing and I just tested them on a wet floor for traction.

I'm also leaning towards trying to find my often hospitalized father-in-law some good grippy socks because I think the weight of slippers might be tough and I don't think he can easily manage getting in and out of slippers these days. Saw some Fitkicks in a store, they are light and have solid grip soles and figured I'm mention it here in case anyone has any experience. I'm just guessing and could be completely off the mark for what someone in and out of the hospital would want, it's a tough situation to get a gift for someone not really in the mood to be celebrating. Any input or ideas are appreciated.

Great deal on the uggs. I have been buying my dad, who is in his mid 80s fleece blankets from Kohls. The cuddle duds brand. He is always cold even on 90 degree days.

No score for me (didn't have those in my dad's size), and not a great on sale deal or anything for what I bought, but I was still inspired by your post and your posting helped me figure out something to get for my 84 year old dad for Father's Day, so thank you so much for posting. Had no idea what to get my dad, wanted to get him something, and thought I'd look for the slippers. I was totally clueless at at a loss, but looking for the slippers I saw other UGG men's products in dad's size. Anyway, I ended up getting some UGG Greyson Sneakers -- thought they looked nice and they had great reviews for comfort. Will take them back if when dad tries them on they aren't comfortable for him. Doing a long weekend trip up to see him for Father's Day weekend.
