FastPasses (Party of Five)

My family will be in the parks January 3rd, 4th, and 5th. My boyfriend and I have APs but my parents and sister don't. Usually my boyfriend and I continue to get rolling FastPasses during the day and we pretty much find what we want as long as we continue to check.

I know we're coming at a historically busy time this trip, but I'm wondering how difficult it is to find rolling FastPasses for a group of five. In your experience, are you able to get any good FastPasses after using the initial three with a party of five?

We did just fine adding many FP's through the day with a group of 7. If you're having troubles then break it into 2 groups and get overlapping times.

We’re a family of 5, and we generally get about 10-12 FPs per day. Something good will generally come up within a few minutes, even on busy days.

We always found splitting into groups is too much of a hassle.

Yup, same here. Party of 5, no problem getting FP+, even during Xmas week.

We were a party of 8 in March. Plenty of FP+ for groups of 8 as 4th or 5th option later in the night. Things like pirates, spaceship earth, even soarin.

The key is to get your 3 initial FP+ completed early in the day.

We spend the week after NYE there annually. We have a lot of success as well but do use a system where we split FPs and overlap to avoid pounding the app an inordinate amount of time. Usually pretty easy to find 2+3 overlapping while in a FastPass queue.
