Fastpass

This is my 3rd trip to Disney and have never used fastpass. Can someone tell me about it?? Thanks!

Most of the popular attractions have machines situated on one side or the other that distribute Fast Passes. There is a clock above showing what the return time is so you can decide if you want a FP for that attraction or not. Of course, if the stand-by line is short there is no reason for a FP at that time. You enter your park admission ticket into the FP machine and it will print out a FP that will name the ride/attraction (don't forget to take your park admission ticket out of the machine), the time window when you can return, and the next time another FP is available. When you return you just show your FP to the Cast Member at the FP entrance. Another CM will collect your Fast Passes as you get closer to enter the ride/attraction.

Fastpass is a ticket you get so that you can ride without waiting in the long standby lines. Grab a fastpass, look at the 1 hour window (**say 1:10 - 2:10) then be at the ride in the fastpass line anywhere within that window and you will ride that ride without standing in a looooong line. You may have to wait for a bit, but nothing like the standby lines. At the bottom of your ticket it will usually say "Another fastpass will be available after _____", usually a minute or 2 after the starting time of your current fastpass. (**In this case it would probably say 1:01, or something near that). We try to have 2 fastpasses as often as possible. While you are waiting for fastpass times to arrive, go on rides with shorter lines... Hope this helps!!!
