Fastpass + w/ last minute trip

We are thinking about going to WDW next week. However, I don't want to purchase tickets only to find out that all the FP+ for the attractions we like are gone. Is there a way to check availability without a ticket? TIA

Nope, but if you purchase tickets separately from your room, and get them linked to your MDE, they are refundable as long as they aren't used (verify this when you call Disney to purchase). This is NOT the case if you book a package. If you buy tickets only, then you could also use them for a future trip as well : )

Also remember that many guests come to Disney without any prior planning and have to book their FP+ first thing. So while the most popular attractions at the smaller parks might be "sold out", odds are that you will be able to get many top attractions a week in advance. Good luck!
