Fastpass...Slinky Dog vs. Flight of Passage

I had a glitch getting on MDE but straightened it out quickly. By 7:13am on Saturday, both FoP and SDD were gone for the days I was hoping for (60+5, 60+3). I'll keep trying...

Our experience was that FOP was not available at all until 60+3, but on that day still had times that were not super late (we got a 4pm). SDD was available starting at 60+2 but only at 6pm or later.

60 + 5 seems to be the magic number for FOP......SD i got 60 + 4 and still available earlier....Good Luck

Question-We're going at the end of August but only staying for 4 days. It sounds like it may be hard to get FOP which is our #1 FP. Thoughts?

We booked in May and got Fop for 60 +1 at 6:55 pm and Navi at 60 at 1:30 to 2:30. We also got SDD at 60 + 5 at 12:30 and As2 on 60 + 6 at noon. We arrive on 6/30 but didn’t want to even try to go to the studios for the first several days. We just started booking the rides whenever we found them then changed whatever dining reservations we had already booked to fit into the ride schedule.

My fastpass window opened today, I had no problem getting anything for any time of day, but I was booking both SDD and FOP at day 6 and beyond of my trip.

I went in just now and poked around and on Day 1 of my trip, there are no longer any SDD fastpasses available (I didn't attempt to book one for that this morning, so I can't say if there was availability at all at some point earlier, I went for TSMM for day 1), but lots for AS2. When I look at my DHS on day 6 of my trip, there are plenty of SDD availability from early afternoon right through the evening and AS2 tons all day. My AK day is not until Day 7 which is still showing FOP available throughout the day.

Update to original post.

Got on at 655am on day 60. Continued to hit refresh button till access was granted. My plan was for FOP first on 60+5, then SDD on 60+3. Got 4 FOP for 5:40-6:40pm. Was hoping for way earlier but that will work. We hope to ride FOP twice by rope dropping FOP and Nav'i.

SDD was available for 60+3 but not until 7:30pm. Didn't want to book third FP for that late in the day so switched it to TSMM for 9:30-10:30 am. We like to utilize more than just 3 FPs (sometimes 5-6) so didn't want one so late in the day. Also planning on rope dropping SDD and AS2 and maybe ride SDD a second time towards closing which happens to be at 1230am with EMH that night. Definitely want to see TSL at night all lit up.

Haven't been on either ride by the way so looking forward to it. Good luck all in your FP quests.
