As I stated before, there is an apparent lack of critical thinking in this thread. (as well as spelling, but that is another story).

As with politics, people have chosen their side, for whatever reason. They grasp at anything that supports their argument and discounts that which doesn't, sometimes applying contradicting standards to do so.

Anyone that has read the first hundred pages knows where I stand but for those that haven't:

- Disney allows late FP use, therefore, those that use it are within their rights to do so.

- Why do they print a window, what was the original intent? Don't know, don't care as it is irrelevant to the allowed use. I still contend that while they would like people to return during their window, they knew lack of enforcement on return time did not have a significant overall effect, therefore, it was easier to allow than to enforce. Social engineering in play here, print it and they will follow, even those who knew that Disney allowed late FP use would still follow the windows (and there is nothing wrong with that).

- There is plenty of evidence to support that Xpass is coming. Reports on numerous websites, heresay for CM's, etc. There is no evidence to support that late FP use became a significant problem. WARNING - OPINION TO FOLLOW!!! I do not believe that late FP usage accounts for any significant delay. When you look at the length of the standby line versus the people entering the FP line it is apparent that the percentage of the rides capacity dedicated to FP usage is not very high. Add that to the percentage of people using late FP and it can't be very significant IMO.

- In the memo posted way back in the beginning of the thread there was language that implied that there would be increased usage of FP (or Xpass or combination). When you add to that the way in which they will be handling Dumbo, it would appear that perhaps the reason to start enforcing the FP window has more to do with the fact that they plan to increase the percentage of capacity dedicated to FP/xP than late usage. By enforcing it now they are giving both guest and themselves a period to adjust to the new system.

I've read almost every page of this thread because I just happened to be around when it was started, and it has mostly been civil, even when people have vehemently disagreed...but a couple of you folks really need to chill - name-calling is a tactic one resorts to when one hasn't a more intelligent, or humorous, rebuttal.

It was actually a classic line....so much so that just typing it into google gives you lots of images to choose from.

Not sure what any of that has to do with credibility though. This little sideline was about calling out nytimez on his BS, not about any credibility.

Perhaps you'd like to discuss the FP issue? Or do you also prefer the sidelines? I'm happy to discuss that. I'm pretty sure there's more credibility from those trying to compare their thoughts on the issue instead of those comparing how good movie lines are.
