Hi everyone! Any news on FastPass? My cousin is in Epcot and she said it is up for Soarin' and people are using it. I do not see it in My Disney app.

There are people still using the FastPass line for things like DAS, ride recovery, Club 33, rider swap etc. If she's seeing people using the FastPass line that's probably why.

FastPass is not back yet. There may be people going through that line because they have an accommodation that lets them wait elsewhere and then ride at the return time they are given.

When I was at Soarin in March, they were using the regular line and sending groups down the "fastpass" side to keep the line in the pavilion shorter.

If I remember correctly, they were doing something like that for Peter Pan's Flight as well. That line also snaked into Columbia House.

Definitely not back yet. BUT we noticed at the end of the night 10:30p +/- the MDE states that Soaring is a 45 minute wait, we walked on the ride in 3 minutes.

^^ We noticed the same thing at various times of the day during our prior Disney trip. No idea how they 'calculate' their wait times, but even the ride entrance had posted times that were way off (both high and low) on many rides.

This has been Disney's strategy for many years. At the end of the night the posted wait times are normally very high as opposed to the actual wait time. A ride that shows a wait time of '45 mins' will discourage many people from joining it. A wait time of '15 mins' has potential to encourage people to join meaning the ride would have to operate much longer after park closing to clear the queue.

Personally, our strategy from about 45 mins prior to park closing until 1 min before park closing is to ignore the posted wait times and get in line for any attraction we want.

I remember one trip when we hopped back to Epcot less than an hour before an 11PM park closing to ride Test Track. The posted wait time was high but we got in line anyways. In the end we rode it 3 times between arriving and park closing as the posted wait time was significantly higher than the actual wait time!
