Hi Everyone,

When my trip takes place starting at the end of march, the new Fastpass+ system will be in use at all four theme parks instead of the paper fastpass tickets.
I have read many posts on the boards about it and read information available on websites as well. Now I have some questions that I could't find the answer for or where I'm not sure of. If someone is able to help me out here, that will be much appreciated.

First I will describe my situation where my questions are based on:
The plan is to stay on property, probably at the Pop Century Resort. The reservation will be room only. Seperate from the room reservation I have a so called Ultimate ticket. This ticket, which is only on sale here in Europe (not in Orlando) comes in the form of an e-ticket / voucher. This ticket is valid for 14 days from first day of use and during that periode it gives unlimited access to all theme parks, waterparks, disneyquest and some other things. I have used this ticket before. To exchange the home printed voucher for an actual ticket I needed to go to guest relations outside one of the parks. At the resort they were not able to do this.

Now here are my questions.

To take advantage of the privilege to make fastpass+ reservations in advance I need to link this ticket, which is not yet an actual ticket but just a voucher, to my online Disney Account. If I have understand it correctly this is possible by using the reference number on the voucher. Is this correct?

On arrival at my Disney resort I will receive a Magic Band (and also a KTTW card if I requesting one). Because I linked my ticket online to my Disney account (because of fastpass+), will my ticket now from the start available on the Magic Band/KTTW card, or do I still need to go to the guest relations at one of the parks to activate it?

If I still need to go to guest relations for ticket activation, will they issue a new plastic RFID ticket, or can they link it at that time to my Magic Band or KTTW card?

Now a few questions about the fastpass+ reservations in advance.

I'v learned that its only possible to reserve up to three fast passes for one day for one park. If I have reserved my fastpass+ reservations at one park and I decide later on to go that day to another park, am I able to delete those three reservations and reserve new ones at a different park? Can I still do this in the morning on that exact day?

Will I be penalized if I don't use one or all of my reserved fast passes for a given day? Are my future fastpass+ reservations affected? For example I plan to vist the Universal parks on two days during my stay. I'm now thinking of making fastpass+ reservations just for every day to make sure I have fast passes, not knowing which days I will use them and which days not.

So these are my questions. Your reply, also if you don't know the answer to every question, will be appreciated.

Thanks, Marcel.

Hi,

Thanks for answering so quickly. Maybe someone else knows how changing your FP reservations over to another park works. If not I will just try it one day and find out.

Marcel.

Marcel.

It is easy to cancel the reservations and make new ones for a different park. When we were there last month we were able to cancel our Epcot fp+'s while we were riding the boat to MK. There is an option to cancel all fp+'s in the app. Once we were in MK, I was able to make all new fp+ reservations for the day. There were plenty of available choices at that time of the morning. For some reason I wasn't able to make the new fp+ choices right after i cancelled the old ones. So I closed the app, waited a little while, then once in the park it let me make the selections.
