IT's HERE! I won't be able to take any pics of it because I no longer have another camera to use other than my P&S (and I'm sure everyone knows what it looks like anyway). I'm very excited. We might be taking a trip to Ocean City this weekend and if we do, I'm going to take it out to the Boardwalk to get some shots. We'll see.

I'm really disappointed I didn't bring a lens to work. I was thinking about it, but UPS usually isn't here until 4:30pm or so and I'd be leaving at 5:30. I'm kicking myself in the pants now. It's 60+ degrees here today, it would have been the perfect day to walk around outside on lunch with it.

HA! I was actually considering feeling "sick" and needing to leave for the afternoon. I would SOOOO run home on lunch, but I live an hour from my work---so that'd be a very long break.

I know how you feel though. The day before mine showed up I had stopped by Costco and grabbed a couple of Extreme III cards so I was ready to take pictures when it arrived. Much to my dismay when I got home from work and went to put in the card I discovered that I had picked up CF cards instead of SD's It was a long wait till the next day to get the correct card. Have fun tonight!

you should fully charge the battery before using it anyway..

I would have. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge (according to the manual anyway) and I got the camera with the first UPS shipment of the day at 10:00am.
