Fastest ROFR answer?

They seem to be pretty consistent at 3 week - 4 week mark. I wish there was an expedited option for an additional fee HA!

I had 9 days last year. Then estoppel took awhile, unfortunately. This year it seems like estoppel is moving more quickly, but ROFR is moving more slowly. :confused3

I think if you look at the ROFR thread you can get a pretty good idea of the time frame. They usually list when it was submitted and when it was passed or taken.

We bought at BWV back in April. We heard back in a week. In fact we put In our offer on April 2nd and it was sent to ROFR same day. We passed ROFR on the 9th. And we were done our closing April 28th. Points were in our account first week of May. We couldn't believe it. Our title company was Mason title.

I bought a BWV contract in Jan 2018. It was sent to ROFR 2 days after the offer was accepted and passed ROFR 7 days later. The Final points in my account didn't come in as soon as Ginger R's did though but from offer made to points in account was about 5 weeks.

Our second contract went from accepted to points in our account in about a month. ROFR was about a week.
First contract was about 2 1/2 months total. ROFR was nearly a month.

Bought resales 5 times and tried to buy 2 other times (one got taken in ROFR after the full 30 days...was last year and another the sellers cancelled on us on day 9 in ROFR). The 5 sucessful ROFRs took 2 to 4 weeks. And when they were on the quicker side, the estople and closing process took longer. So all 5 were about 2 months from beginning to end.

Typically Disney is taking around 3 weeks to respond to ROFR (although they have a 30 day window). The fastest I've seen Disney respond is around 7 days, however that is rare and does not usually happen that fast, but does happen on occasion.

My shortest ROFR waiver was 1 day
My longest was 30 days

My shortest was also 1 day. It was a verbal one from DVC and the official came 3 or so days later. This was a contract that they were supposed to be foreclosing on but it had been missed in some paperwork by them which was the reason it was a verbal "pass" to start.
