Fast Passes shut down

If you are only going to post part of your story, than you can expect people to make some wrong assumptions. I think for most people, it wouldn't be a big deal to walk from the parking lot into the parks. I'm sorry I didn't beg you for a reason as to why you were objecting so strongly to the lack of a tram. You were pretty vocal with everything else to that point, why would I assume you would leave out any pertinent information?

I'm done. You apparently want to wallow in how you feel Disney wronged you. Go ahead and wallow.

As I said earlier, it's all my fault. I should have disclosed information to you that is none of your business. Anyhow, don't mistake my pointing out your lack of tact as wallowing. We had a really good holiday in the end. I'm just not the sort of person that will accept substandard service at a premium price without saying something.

Disney is considered the pinnacle of amusement parks. That's why we chose them. The same reason one might attend F1 Grands Prix and not NASCAR events, or sail Queen Mary 2 instead of the latest Royal Caribbean floating block. Perhaps stay at the W instead of the Travelodge as someone mentioned earlier. When I opt for high end products, I don't expect them to reward me with corner cutting and money saving tactics. I don't think I am wrong about that expectation.

I agree that my issues are not issues to many of you, but perhaps some day soon Disney will restrict or revoke something the rest of you do care about. When it happens I hope that line 'subject to change/availability' brings you the same comfort you expect it to bring me.

I further agree little else will come of this thread. I think the other thread on Disney Going Downhill is probably more relevant now.

If the fastpass machines were not in use that day and there were no fastpasses issued that day then you can say that all of the fastpasses for the day had been used. It's a standard line that CM are told to say. I can see where it may be aggrevating but a 20 to 40 min wait for KRR is not too bad.

this just strikes me as odd, I was in the colleg program and still have friends there. I can not accept that Disney is instructing cast members to just lie to people.

I do think there is quite a bit of foot stamping going on. In this thread. I never said I saw the OP stamp their feet. .

again, with the exaggeration and superlative. if you didn't see any of us stamp our feet, how do you know we were? we weren't. that is an exaggeration, to make us sound childish. uncalled for.

someone posts a few things they were disapointed with. other posters agreed and sympathized. still others tried to nicely point out why (in their opinion) Disney did what was expected.
but when some posters keep insinuating that the OP is being unreasonable, the OP feels they have to come back and continue to make their point. and then they are accused of wallowing.
on BRunette's "disney going downhill?" thread, people are discussing, disagreeing, and yet NOT accusing, or name calling.
Jonmar, don't take it to heart. most of us KNOW you are not having a childish temper tantrum (what "stampoing your feet" implies) OR wallowing.
I, for one, am sorry you were disapointed in some things, and glad that you had a good time anyway. I'm also grateful to you for sharing your expererience with us. it will help the rest of us in our planning! that's what the Dis is all about.
if someone posts they were unhappy with the steak at Captain Jack's, (maybe it used to be really good, but now it is tough). they are NOT "complaining", or foot stampoing. they are sharing. and helping others to choose their entree wisely. trying to help each other. thanks!
