Fast Pass so limited

Am I the only one that finds the fast past system very limited. I can't understand why you can't have passes at different parks in the same day and you're limited to only one park. What's the point of having a hopper pass? I'm really bummed that I can't get passes for the three rides we wanted for the day, and I have to choose from rides I'm not that interested in. Why is Disney doing this.

I agree. We still choose all the FP's we can based on where we think we'll be and sometimes we get lucky and actually get to use them. It's unclear if Disney's intent is to make the lines overall shorter, or to simply use it as a value added feature (to make more money).
