I have reservations at Bay Lake Tower for the first week in March. I have not purchased our park tickets yet. It is almost time to make our fast pass plus reservations. Do I have to purchase our tickets before I can make those reservations? I usually purchase a package, so I have never been in this situation. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

You must have tickets purchased and linked to your MDE account to book Fastpasses when your window opens. The tickets can be purchased online as Will Call and the numbers need to be linked in MDE.

those staying at a Disney resort can make fastpass+ selections 60 days in advance but you must have a park ticket linked to your my Disney experience account in order to do so.

Our 60 days is tomorrow night. We are booked on a Play, Stay and Dine package. I have heard of people able to see up to 30 days before their 60 day window opens, but I can't look at the Fastpass + information. It shows "Needs park admission" next to our names. Will it all work tomorrow night? I'm sure it's covered somewhere on this board, but it has me a little nervous. I don't want to stay up until 2 AM if my reservation was set up incorrectly. Thanks in advance for your help!

Bullet point #3 under Booking Windows and Scheduling.

Thanks for your response, but #3 is part of why I am worried. I read that post, and #3 says:
"For onsite guests, the 60-day prebooking window will not activate until the 60-day mark. Before this point, the booking window will be only 30 days. At midnight of the 60-day mark, the 30-day window will automatically expand to 60 (or more) days. It is also commonly reported that all members on the account with tickets don't appear on the MDX app until the 60-day mark."

I can not view 30 days. It states "Valid Park Admission Required" if I try to make a Fastpass+ selection. I emailed Disney, and they said I will have no problems at 60 days, but I don't understand why I can't see the 30-day as described in mesaboy's thread.

Your tickets are part of your package and they don't become active until you check in. That's why you can't see 30 days because the system reads your reservation as having no active tickets. The FP system will allow you to book when your 60 day window opens because of the tickets attached to your package reservation. You just need to know that it will work when your 60 day window opens at 1:00.
