I have a family of 5 and my 4 year old can't ride a lot of rides. If we use rider swap does everyone still need a fastpass or can my husband and oldest daughter get one and I get a rider swap pass so that I can ride with my other daughter when they get off? TIA

You should split up the FPs when you book them. The first riders need to have a FP and then 3 people can ride on the Swap without the need for FPs.

Ok that's what I heard but when I called disney and asked they said everyone would need them. I just want to make sure before I do my fastpasses. If me and my other kids don't need them then I wanted to be able to use another fastpass on a different ride for my 4 year old. Thanks for the info

I just came back with 5 adults and one child and used RS and FP+ with no issues . We split up our FP+ (ie: 2 of us got a FP for Splash, the other 3 used RS). We used RS at Splash, BTMRR and Test Track. The CMs never asked any questions, just gave me the pass. They didn't even look to see if I had a child with me. I know this is CM dependant but it was much smoother than I was anticipating.

I have been denied a RS pass by ride CM when using a FP+. They told us we could only get RS if we waited in stand by. Just FYI it can happen. So Now I won't risk it if we all really want to ride.

Let me make sure I understand...Family of 4 DMom, DDad, DD(4), and DD(2). Using rider swap would they need 2FP OR 3FP? If only two were needed then that could double the rides the oldest can experience. Thanks in advance for your help.
