I will be setting up our Fast Pass reservations for 3 families. A total of 8 people. Does everybody need a MDE account or once I have their reservation numbers will that be all that I need? We are waiting to book when free dining is announced.

Each person CAN have his own account, or each GROUP can have an account, or any combination...
as long as each person or group "JOINS" you on your account if you are the one making FP+ and/or dining reservations.

Thanks. I already had my mother set up an account. I wasn't sure if my father needed his own account or just needed to be listed with hers. My brother still needs to set up his. We are not going until September but I wanted to get everything set up and understood before July when I can do our Fast Passes. I have to do it all. Nobody else wants any part of the planning.

Many of us here have had similar situations.
All I can say is to not expect your work to be fully appreciated.

Enough said about that. ;)

Or you can pretend you cant do it and forget about so much family togetherness. Book yours and send them an email of all your times and let them fend for themselves (HEE HEE HEE).

So I live in Virginia and will be visiting WDW in June (staying on-site). Family members live in Fla. and have APs. Is there a way to coordinate our FP+s?

When it comes to booking Fast Passes I plan on booking with MY kids in mind first. I will worry about my mother, father, brother and sister in law after. But, I wanted to figure it all out before hand. I have read every post on the Fast Pass Plus thread but was still a little confused on if everybody needed a MDE account.

You can all "join" one account and that person can make all FP+ reservations.
It would have to be that a "common date" before the trip would need to re reached for FP+ booking.

Guests staying at a WDW resort can book up to 60 days in advance.
Then, the FL residents (if they are NOT staying at a WDW resort) could be booked
up to 30 days in advance.

If you book the WDW Resort guests first, when the 30-day date arrived, you could
try to COPY the existing FP+ times over to the non-WDW resort guests.

But, BTW, this can be difficult... to impossible (depending on the attraction, the timing, and well, everything.)
A very daunting task and one that you must be willing to spend a lot of your time trying to coordinate.

Another method is to wait until ALL guests will be within the 30-day window and try making the FP+ all at once. That will have its own set of advantages and drawbacks.

Next question, how do I "join" them to my account?
