fashion bug closing...bummed about it

I just found out today that fashion bug is closing all of its stores. I have shopped there for years and most of my clothes are from there. I love fashion bug!! I always got great deals because I only shopped sales or with coupons. I know lane bryant is like them, but I need misses sized clothes. Where can I get clothes like them? They told me maurices, but in my opinion they're not the same and are a bit too pricey.

Sorry... NO, they are OWNED by the same Parent company. They are not alike at all!! Fashion Bug's quality is about equal to Walmart. Lane Bryant sells a much better quality product than Fashion Bug. They cater to TWO TOTALLY different clientele. Honestly, I'm surprised Fashion Bug has made it this long...we only have one left in our county and it's in the 'not so nice' area...somewhere I generally don't go to shop. Besides I think the quality is very subpar, but that is jmho.

OP, I am sorry that you are disappointed and losing a store you love. I know how frustrating it is to lose something you like so much. I know I've been disappointed in similar situations in the past. I hope you are able to find a new store that you like. Depending on what size you wear... Lane Bryant starts at 14/16 (and they cut some of those on the small side...why? I do not know??) and they do lots of coupons. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than FB but I think you will find their quality is SOOO much better. Good Luck!!

Used to get 90% of my clothing from Fashion Bug, but they continued to close store after store around here so I stopped.

I love Dress Barn, but the prices are higher. They run 20% off coupons on occasion and have decent clearance prices, but I don't get as much there as I did Fashion Bug.

Macy's is the other go to spot for me.

They were bought out from the parent company that owns Lane Bryant by the parent company that owns Dress Barn. Dress Barn, although more expensive will be the most similiar. Around here they are telling people to go to Catherine's which is owned by the same parent co as Lane Bryant...it is the priciest of the three. I always do Fashion Bug for something trendy and inexpensive, Lane Bryant for my good casual and some work clothes, Catherine's for my business/work clothes. I also shop Cold Water Creek, Talbots and Christopher Banks. I am in the between sizes since my lapband surgerty so I can shop plus 14 or regular 14/16.
