And one of the fan sites says you have to grow flowers every 48 hours for the bees, but I cannot find this info elsewhere. Anyone know about that?

I gift, help with buildings...but don't visit farms right now. My old laptop is slowed down to a crawl and it takes forever for things to load when I try...2 farms could take me 1/2 hour.

I think I saw that in a prerelease page on the Farmville Fanatic page a while back. Not sure exactly what the benefit of having the bees will do to "boost" your harvest ala the fertilizing that's already done.

After fertilizing everyone's farms and my own tulips and I got nothing, I ended up buying one.

I finally got mine today. I had harvested 1500 of my own flowers and fertilized probably 300-400 neighbor crops for 3 days. Finally hit the jackpot on some Lilacs at a neighbor's farm.

By that time I had almost 100 bees waiting in my gift box!

I remember reading something about you having to have flowers growing on your farm even after getting your queen bee, or otherwise your honeybees will fly away (be adopted by others visiting your farm?) But now I'm reading that the only thing you have to do to keep your bees is collect honey every day. Does anyone know which is true?

Also, has anyone seen a swarm yet?

I got my queen bee and about 170 bees. Now, here is my problem. I will be going to Florida at the end of the week for about 12 days. During this time, I will not be working on my farm. Will my bees be flying away?

That is what I figured! Oh well, I will have to get some more bees once I return.
