Finally! A new expansion. How many neighbors do you need and what level do you have to be?

From speaking with other FVs, it's a different number for every person. I needed 72, but someone else needed 155 (or something like that). It depends on how many you start with. Someone else told me you need to add 5 neighbors, but I believe I needed to add 11-12. Also, once you get the neighbor count, it will cost you $2M coins, in addition to the neighbors. Or you could always spend the 80FV, like my mom did. Then there are no additional neighbors necessary.

Can you add FV neighbors, see when they post FV stuff and NOT add them as friends? It isn't that I don't want FB friends, but I figure most people probably don't want to read the silliness that I post!

I DO need friends though so I can get a bigger farm and lament just a little more about not having enough fuel. I love visiting farms (FUEL!) and do a lot of fertilizing and gift sending.

WOW! That is harsh. I only needed 5 friends but I have just a little over 2million coins so it will take all of them! I am a fairly new player (level 41 though!) and only have 16 cash! 80 seems like an awful long time away so I think I will have to blow the 2 million!

You can make a separate list and add all your DIS friends to that list, then limit what they can and cannot see. The only drawback is they won't be able to get things from you (mystery eggs, bonuses, etc.)

My mom is only level 31. She went to 7-11 and bought a $25 gift card, which I believe gives over 100 FV$. I had purchased a $10 gift card and got 55FV$. Just a thought. Or when all else fails, wait a little bit and keep planting and harvesting.

I didn't realize it was so much coins. At least I have it. I had to have 122 neighbors for the expansion. I'm hopefully going to be able to do that tonight.
