Is Farmtown different from Farmville?

I was wondering that myself. Within the past few days, some of my FB friends signed up for Farmville. If anyone does both, are the similar?

I don't have time to do 2 farms, so I'm sticking with Farm Town.

Another friend got me started on farmville. It is faster than FT, but I don't like it nearly as much.

I just started Farm Town on Friday, and I'm sooooo addicted to it! We're out of school for the summer, so I'm obsessed with checking my crops every few minutes. I don't know what I'll do when I have to go back to work!

Farmville is basically the same. Just different graphics and some differences in crops. I think it's a little underdeveloped compared to Farm Town.

Welcome to all the new addicts I swear this game is so ultimately relaxing. It really cures a bad day for me.

Anyhow here's a link for y'all to figure when your crops will be ready to harvest. This way you can keep an eye on them but not be there all the time. And there is other great stuff here too. The Farm manager is simply amazing.

Sorry I missed you! I went to bed right after posting. I don't seem to be on the same time as you anymore. Hopefully we will connect soon - I have been busy raking your farm!!! It looks like you expanded, I am probably going to do that tomorrow if I have time.

Hi All! Haven't been on this thread in a while. I was out of town last week on business then DH ended up in the hosp over the weekend. Been keeping up with my farm but haven't had a chance to check in here. Everything is back to normal again (whatever normal is ).

Had a little party on my farm last night with a couple if Disers then we moved it over to Ann R's! It so much fun working together with people you 'know'.

If there is anyone that is new and is looking for neighbors send me a PM!

I got frustrated yesterday. All my animals started escaping through a closed gate like it was an open gate. I moved the gate, so we will see if the animals are still penned up or eating my crops.
