Sad to see this show leave, the Genie was awesome and it was always fun to hear what new jokes he had. Hopefully they will bring it back sometime as either a Limited Time event or a more permanent run if the Frozen hype dies down.

I took this pictures from the front row back in December. We nervously waited at the rope drop while the VIP section slowly grew and grew. Luckily they didn't take all of the front row.

Nice pics! When is the new show opening? Visiting from April 18-22 after almost 35 years since the last visit. I have been to WDW many times since, but not to Disneyland.

Your pictures are fabulous! Thanks so much for posting them! We are heartbroken it is closing. That was my DD's last straw as far as the Frozen over-saturation. She has gone from Frozen obsessed to being totally sick of it and disliking it- largely because it is everywhere you turn. She was irritated this summer by the fact that the Tangled and Beauty and the Beast shows were replaced by Frozen at DL when they already had the Sing-along over at CA, but once she found out about Aladdin, she was done with Frozen entirely. She didn't even want to go see Anna and Elsa at WDW this October, which is huge because she is a character fanatic.

Great pictures!! We got to see the show when we visited for the first time in 2013 and my whole family loved it (Genie is truly awesome). We are returning in June for a visit and I am sad that we won't be able to see the show again. It truly was a great show that will be missed.

My kids love Olaf but they are getting pretty sick of the princesses - but they are a bit older and perhaps younger kids still go gaga over them? I do think it is becoming an over milked cow though and honestly if it weren't for the snowman I'm not sure it would be able to carry on as long as it has. That being said, when we first went to see Aladdin 4 years ago, while my kids had seen the movie, it was not one of their big favorites, but the show captured their entire attention and we've returned to see it every trip since. I think the show itself really is what people loved, not the basis for where that show came from. Of course when this musical was first introduced I don't think people were gagging from all the other Aladdin stuff that had already saturated the market. I am sure Disney have researched this - but I wish they'd let it go too... (couldn't resist).

I'm really sad that this show ended. I'm not a fan of Frozen so I'm not looking forward to new show.

How many Frozen shows do they need? This will be three! We were devastated about Tangled and Beauty being canceled because all three are her favorites. We went to the Frozen show in Disney and my almost three year old said we saw this yesterday mama. She woud have so loved to see something else. She was mesmerized by Aladdin. She loves Jasmine now because of that show. It's sad Disney can't see that Frozen isn't the only thing available out there.

I so agree! They should do something underrepresented like walle or they could do a live muppet show

I'm looking forward to the Frozen musical at DL. We loved Aladdin, too, and we will miss it. But after 15 years, it is time for something else. Wall-E wasn't a big enough movie to warrant its own show at DL or DCA. However, something like Beauty & The Beast or Rapunzel would lend itself well to a musical production at DL resort.

I doubt that DL will keep both the Frozen sing-a-long AND a Frozen musical. I bet that the Frozen sing-a-long gets replaced with some other musical act/show. They could bring the Muppets back. Or do an Aladdin sing-a-long there. Or similar thing with Rapunzel or Beauty & The Beast...especially since Beauty & The Beast is now a big Broadway musical. Or they could do something with The Lion King. There are a ton of possibilities. I'm sure that Disney will figure out a way to take advantage of that performance space.

I thought that they already had a Frozen Musical in DL in the Royal..someplace..Name escapes me...

I disagree. It was an amazing movie. Now, I can't see a musical based on it, but I think they missed the boat BIG time with it. There are STILL people asking about it, presence at the parks, etc. And here they are putting something in 2 years after the movie was out, when even the little girls that lived and breathed Frozen are growing tired of it. (I know there are little boys, big boys and girls, and adults who loved it, too, but I'm going to guess that it was mostly little girls) Sigh.

Wall-E appealed in so many ways, and if you paid attention to the movie it was really amazing. My mother in law, who doesn't really get fast English, LOVED that movie, specifically because there was so little talking, yet she understood it completely.

Nothing against this movie, it does have a deeper message than Frozen and many other Disney films but it was no smash hit. Frozen had double the box office than Wall-e and when is the last time you say anyone dressed up as one of the characters from the movie. Disney make movies for one reason - to market the movie - and Frozen was a marketing sensation - in fact I recall threads on this very board from panic stricken mothers trying to find Elsa or Anna dresses somewhere, anywhere - it was madness I tell you.

So while I agree that Frozen needs to thaw out some, I certainly cannot imagine Wall-e being the next thing Disney invests any future effort in. Great movie but sometimes it's the target market that counts and not the content of the product.
