Hi, this will be my first cruise on the Fantasy. I wanted to book a room on deck 10, but noticed it was directly under Flo's V8 Cafe. Does anyone know if the veranda on deck 10 will be very noisy because of this.

I don't know much about the layout of the ship.

thanks in advance.

Another recommendation not to go with deck 10. The veranda rooms on deck 10 have a very large overhang.

On ships, higher isn’t always better. I am a fan of Decks 7 and 8. The Fantasy is just getting back after a month in DryDock. She should be all spiffed up!

And so does the Dream, I had a vibrating aft stateroom on our last Dream cruise.

If I do cruise DCL again, it will only be on one of the new ships.
Oh no. I had a full aft extended veranda on Dream in Jan 2023 and while we definitely noticed the vibrations, it didn't impact our sleep (unlike on Magic when we weren't even fully aft). That's too bad, I was hoping to get the same room if we sail Dream again.

We were on Deck 9 Aft, Port side on the Fantasy last April. It was a great ship for a first cruise, we did notice alot of motion in our room. And dinner at I believe the Enchanted Garden at the back you could feel and see things moving from vibration. ( Jurassic Park style in your water glass). We booked for the Destiny this coming April so I am hoping newer ship maybe less.

I didn't feel anything on Wish, and I almost always book aft of the aft elevator lobby. Probably Triton/Wish class is the smoothest.

The new ships have a completely different propulsion system not prone to vibrations.

I’ve been on the Wish and Treasure and didn’t notice any vibrations. That’s why from now on if I sail DCL I will only sail on the new ships.
