Welcome to the group!!!! How fun that it is a surprise for your DD! Our first cruise (well, first three) were surprises for the kids and I'll never forget the reactions when they found out we were going.

Hi All,
We just got off the Fantasy this past Saturday. We booked this cruise while onboard. It's a great ship!! If anyone has any questions let me know. I'll be doing a TR in a week or so as well.
Here is our info.

Do you want to participate in the FE? Yes, still recovering from our first, but I am sure we will join up now that we know what we did wrong.
Look forward Ito getting to know folks.
Welcome to you also!!!! I'm so glad to hear that you liked the Fantasy! I would love to hear more about the trip.
Oh, one thing that we have been trying to figure out is the very front of the ship (Deck 13). Is it true that it is completely adults only or can kids go up along the railing (outside of the plexiglass) to enjoy the view from the front of the ship? I have seen conflicting reports.
Well, our big news for this cruise is that it looks like we are going to add another person. My DD's BFF is going to go with us. It will be a new experience traveling as a group of 5. We already discovered that we have issues getting a room at the Hyatt MCO (they only take 4 to a room) so we may have to rethink that. It will also be a tight squeeze in the room when it comes time to get ready for dinner.
But my DD does not make friends easily (kind of shy) so on our MR cruise last month, she spent a lot of time in the room (drawing and listening to music). She was fine with that, but I really wanted her to enjoy the kids areas. The only time I ever saw her really do that was on the Dream last year when we had another family there (with kids her age) that we already knew. So she had friends to hang out with.
So I am thrilled that she will have her BFF to pal around with and they (hopefully) will spend time enjoying hanging out in the teen area of the ship.
