I haven't checked in in a while. Our family was supposed to go on a Carnival Cruise this summer with family but the trip was cancelled. So now I'm back to obsessing about sailing on the Fantasy!

Just wanted to say HI to the folks from Louisiana. DH & I are both originally from there ... I went to Nicholls & DH to LSU. Still get back quite a few times a year. My parents have a house in Raceland area. Looks like Disney_Cajun_Man is the same as me ... living in ATL area.

Count us in!! As much I hated to do it...I called last week and switched us from the Dream this summer to this cruise next summer. We are really excited about the eastern since we've never done it!! It will be me Lee Ann, DH, DS 14, DD 10, and DD 18months. We decided it would be easier cruising with an 18month old rather than a 6month old baby. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise..we've done both the Magic and the Wonder. I'm so excited about this cruise!! I just hate to have to wait so long. Atleast we have lots of time to get to know everyone!!

I've read through the thread and still haven't decided to do the fish extender thing yet or not. The other two crusies we went on didn't have a big following on here so we didn't have a FE group. I think it would be fun...I just don't want to spend alot of time running all over the ship. I even made us a FE for our last cruise...

As far as the Fish Extender, I know how you feel about running all over, but then I got to thinking that it was worth the thirty min or so that it took me to deliver gifts last time in order for my kids to be receiving gifts every day. They loved checking the pockets when they returned to the room. We had maybe twenty families in our group?

Thanks Lori! I think that our kids will really enjoy it too. I just didn't want to spend alot of time running around looking for all the cabins. The cruise goes by so fast!! I think we are going to go ahead and sign up.

I may even be lazy and let my two oldest sons who will be 15 and 16 1/2 do some of the delivering on this cruise, lol. I'll tell them they can look for cute girls on the way or something like that, lol

I read somewhere that you can get to the Oceaners club on deck 5 but the vibe's entrance is on the fourth floor with stairs going up. There is a door that separates the cabins from the club areas that not everyone noticed. I am happy to hear that!

I am glad to read this. I booked 5E just to be close to the Oceaners Lab/Club. It never crossed my mind that we might have to go to another floor & then coming back down. But going back (now) and looked at the deck plans it doesn't show it clearly as being opened or a door. So, there is a door that you can use to get to a hallway to get to the club/lab?

It's been quite a while since I've posted, and the group seems to be getting quite large. I need to go back and read all of the posts, but just wanted to ask if anyone else has checked the price of their rooms recently?

We have two rooms for the five of us on this cruise (Cat 5c and 11b across the hall) and the price has now gone up by almost $3,000! I'm not sure we could afford to book this cruise today.

Yes, we have a Facebook group as well and we were all discussing this yesterday.

A few of us have 5E's booked and they're no longer available so no way to really tell for my specific room, but an 11B was more yesterday than I paid for me 5E!

I read on one post somewhere that there is a door that opens to allow passage to the back of the ship, but I can't say for sure. Wish we had a more definite answer as this is why I really like Deck 5 on the Wonder/Magic...well the easy access to the kids clubs/movie theater and the fact that there isn't much foot traffic in front of our rooms.

Yeah, I just went in and checked today! We are in an 8B which isn't showing available, but the 9A rooms are almost $1500 more than wahat we paid! I was pretty excited we got our rooms when we did.

I imagine between now and when we sail we'll have oodles of information on the Dream. It just passes the time to research/plan and dream. Sigh.

I haven't checked in for a while. We have been getting slammed with snow here in Massachusetts and there have been many hours spent shoveling.
