The cruise docs for our 2nd cruise arrived today . I'm finishing up my FE gifts while my guys have gone camping. They get to sleep in a tent and I get to sleep in my comfy bed in an air conditioned house.

So happy, found out today that we were moved to main dining. One more thing checked off the list. We are all early rises and late dining would have been inconvenient at best.

My DS is into Geocaching and we plan to search for the cache we've heard is on CC. He's bringing a few tracking bugs to exchange.

Just seeing if anyone was into Geocaching (or wants to learn) as there will be a few new locations to geocache at

I was on the MV Fantasy cruise and seemed that the geocaching group that was put together by someone else fell apart.. So, jsut checking to see if anyone is interested is a show and tell (for the curious to the pros) and then find a few when we get to port..

If there is interest, let me know of course. if there are any questions about the boat, let me know.. one month and counting. and we just finally got all unpacked from the last Fantasy cruise should have just kept things packed. lol

We have done several geocaches. My DH was wondering though.. Does Disney supply the way points and clues/clue sheet?

Also we are trying to get our gifts together has anyone been added since the deadline in May.

Excitment is building this will be my 1st Disney Cruise. My daughter went last year with Meemouse.

Congrats on your wedding and upgrade. Just curious, what category did you have and what were you upgraded to? Has anyone else ever received a free upgrade and how did you receive it? Thanks.

We had 11C for our category an Inside stateroom. We were upgraded to a Deluxe stateroom with Verandah. It was such a surprise to us.

This may be a stupid question but, what is geocaching?

No question is stupid

It's sort of a high-tech hide and seek.. Pretty much every country all over the world has hidden 'geo-caches'..

You can use your GPS (like a garmin) or iphone, android, blackberry, etc to find these..

In a way, it's a way to get you out and explore new places.. some are known as 'park and grabs' aka your GPS takes you somewhere you can drive up to.. and find it.. others make you solve puzzles to find them.. all based on GPS coordinates..

They can be on city streets.. hidden right in front of you.. or deep in the woods miles from anywhere. and still hidden to the point, that when you find it, you go :dang. how did they do that"..

you can go to the geocaching webpage.. at geocaching.com and sign up for an account or look around. it's free so that makes it even a nicer hobby..

We are a geocaching family. We went to the one on Castaway Cay twice in June on our double dip.

If we can get a small group, like to hit a few on the different islands..

They do not supply anything.. that's a bummer.. but, I have already ran the GPX file for both of the islands we'll be at.. I'm more than willing to have a meet and greet and share the GPX files and such if anyone is interested..
