Hi! Just booked last night. Jill and Bob traveling with no kids. We will be in the adult area if anyone is looking for us!

Yes, Holy Toledo here, The Glass City, home of Katie Holmes, Danny Thomas, Jamie Farr & @mschreib13 's hated Tony Packos.... I'm a big fan of Tony Packo Pickles....

We really want to join in on the fun. We made great friends on our 1st cruise in 2014 & we're talking with them about this cruise.

Welcome!! 2 Adults traveling here as well and will be in adult area the whole time as well.. if not there will be on Aqua Duck!

Hey everyone! My husband and I just booked on Friday! 2nd DCL cruise. Celebrating his birthday that week. Gay couple no kids yet but in process of adopting. Any other LGBT going?

Welcome Aboard!:sail:

Btw we are from Ohio. More Midwesterners I see!!

Yeah!! Another Ohioan!!

My 13th cruise. Got a GTY room as well. Waiting to be assigned. Last time we did it and lucked out with an amazingly big handicap room.

13th cruise! I'm jealous. This is our 2nd cruise. We've booked a VGT, but I think the deals gone?

Did anyone else get a VGT?

I've only been to Lima a handful of times, one of the, was to take my state social work license at a testing center here. Does all your family still live there?

So when's everyone arriving? If you're arriving early what are you doing?

Last year we arrived the day before & stayed at the Best Western in Cocoa Beach, it was just an ok hotel, but it was nice to walk on the beach, walk to the restaurant on the beach next door for dinner & to get the 40% off coupon for the the long term parking garage.

This year we plan to arrive Thursday night & stay thru Saturday am at the All Stars Sports (no good deals on any deluxes) since our friends we met last year on the cruise are flying in from WI on Friday. So they can take DME to the hotel & we can hang out at probably DTD during the day. Then we have an Ohana reservation for dinner. Then Saturday we will drive them with us to the port.

When's everyone's PAT? We have 11:30-11:45 & our friends are 12-12:15.

We're flying in Friday morning, taking Magical Express to Animal Kingdom Lodge, we'll be at Disney Springs for the day, we have Raglan Road reservations that night. Then we have Boma reservations Saturday morning before taking Disney transportation to port!

I really liked the Boma breakfast (& dinner) when we stayed at AKL! The pool was nice also, but I loved their hot tub.

Hello Gang! Only 45 days to go, I can't wait! I was blessed with a bit of Pixie Dust today and I need some feedback from our veteran cruisers. My family of 5 was on the wait list for a Concierge stateroom and I got a call from DCL today letting me know one was available. I have until the end of today to decide if I want it. Currently, we're in a Cat 4a room on deck 9 and this would be an "upgrade" to a Cat V room on deck 11. My original interest in a Concierge room was for the perk of being able to book reservations 120 days out, instead of the normal 75. Since that perk is no longer applicable, I'm wondering if the upgrade cost difference is worth it. So, my question is to all of you veteran cruisers out there. Have any of you sailed in a Concierge room and was it worth it (minus the 120 day booking perk)? I'm actually OK with the fare difference if there is significant value there. Anyone's comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We stayed in a Cat V concierge room on our first cruise and loved it! It's hard to attach a value to the experience, but even without advance bookings, I'd do it again if money was not an issue.

Just received this email re:costumes.

We are truly excited that you will be joining us aboard the Disney Fantasy and want to take this opportunity to share with you some important information about Star Wars Day at Sea.

Guests on your sailing are invited to experience the legendary adventures and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga during a brand-new, day-long celebration. This fun-filled day at sea will include themed events and activities for every member of the family, including a costume celebration, special film screenings, games, character meet and greets along with a version of the popular Jedi Training Academy. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their own stellar costumes to join in this day-long celebration that culminates with an intergalactic Star Wars deck party featuring spectacular fireworks at sea.

More information on themed events, times, and locations will be available onboard in thePersonal Navigator that will be delivered to your stateroom.

Please remember that while all Guests are invited to wear costumes for both Pirate Night and this special Star Wars Day at Sea celebration, masks that completely cover a person’s face may only be worn when standing still at character photo locations and must be carried when moving around the ship. We also ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. To avoid any disappointment or delay in the boarding process, please refrain from bringing toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements, as these items will not be allowed onboard.

Again, we look forward to sailing with you soon!

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line

We're arriving on Thursday, staying at Pop, and our friends are arriving on Friday. Then we're taking Happy Limo to the ship on Saturday. SIX WEEKS FROM TOMORROW!!

I'm not sure WHAT we're doing. I think, on Friday, one of my dearest friends from high school is coming down, but I'm not sure if it's her, her and her husband, or her entire family. It'll be a good time any way we cut it. :)

I was amused by the offensive line. I'm not sure how, but, you know, someone's probably found a way!

This was my SECOND email from them this week. Am I going to get two a week every week until we cruise?!

Leia costumes came to mind but is still a Disney cruise :)

I mean, I suppose sexy Leia may be inappropriate for dinner but, on the other hand, it's no worse than a swimsuit?

We are flying in LATE Thursday From MN/WI - staying at hotel in airport since sooo late (11:40 pm hopefully the kids will sleep on the plane). Then Grabbing a car on Friday early and driving to Legoland doing the park during the day and staying at Legoland resort (in a pirate room) overnight. We have been to the park multiple times and it's an easy afternoon for us and with the BOGO coupons I can agree to it. Then in am heading to Port after early breakfast - our PAT is 1030-11 so we will be planing to make it to Cocoa Beach by 10. After cruise we are renting a car again and staying at AKL with no plans but to relax and prepare for our early - sad - trip home on Sunday at 9, and to see all the cool things at AKL we missed last year when we stayed there since we were at Parks every day! We LOVED just watching the animals and never had much time.
