Fantasy January 23, 2016- STAR WARS

I knew nothing about a drink passport. Sounds like fun. DH and I tried at least the drink of the day every day which were always great but the passport sounds something we need to look into. Thanks for sharing the info.

Has anyone decided where they are staying the night before the cruise? I'm trying to put together a total budget for the whole trip and I can't make up my mind on this one. I keep going back and forth between a value hotel at WDW or the Hyatt at the airport.

We booked MCO Hyatt. Woot Woot. The Disney Bus (if you paid for it) can get you as early as 9AM I think, and then you can hopefully get an early Port Arrival Time. Plus I hear it has a really nice rooftop pool, so if its nice out, great to get a little Large pool action.

That's the way I'm leaning too. We will be using Disney Transporation (don't want to have to bring a car seat). We don't have flights booked yet but I know we will be getting in late Friday. DH has limited vacation time so we will be flying out after he get off of work on friday.

So excited that I found this forum! We are going to be cruising with all of you!

belle0609 - Me - Carrie
DH - Chris
DS - Aidan (7)
DD - Alexis (5)
from Waukesha, Wisconsin.

We have been on one prior Disney cruise on the Wonder to Alaska which was great fun!

But this time it should be even better to get out of the cold Wisconsin winter to a nice sunny warm place! I can't wait to experience Castaway Cay!

Also, so excited about the fish extenders - we didn't even know about this program the first time we sailed. I think it will be great fun.
I will have to make a few posts first before I can PM to sign up.

Welcome! I posted a link on page 2 where you can make some dummy posts to get to the 10 needed to send a pm. We only have a few people offically signed up so far. I know it's early but I get excited every time I get a message from someone signing up for the FE.

I've already started putting together some of my gifts. I'm not a crafty person so when the mood stricks I try to seize it, lol.

Welcome Welcome ! So far this feels to be Disney North-Midwest tour, (Indiana, Michigan and Wisc)

Hello all,

I don't think i introduced myself the first time.
me - Toni (birthday cruise)
DM - Wonda
from Chicago

I was also thinking of staying at the Hyatt, although now we are trying to decide if we wanna do Harry Potter World before or after the cruise.

Welcome! I wish we had some extra time to spend on vacation, I would love to go to Harry Potter World. I went once a few years ago and it was amazing, I think I cried a little when I first saw Hogwarts. Now that they have expanded I can only imagine how awesome it is.

Thanks so much! I will go make my dummy posts. I am excited about doing FE for the first time!

So excited for our 4th (!!!) Disney Cruise. We booked on board this January, before the Star Wars announcement. What an awesome surprise for this Star Wars nerd and her two sons when the announcement was made just a few weeks later! Can't wait to celebrate my birthday with Mickey, Jack Sparrow and Darth next year.

Just learned about FE and can't wait to participate.

Me -- Veronica
Mom -- Ronnie
son -- Marshall 11 (he'll see you at the Edge)
son -- Willie (will be) 10

I can't believe I figured this ^ thing out. Im so proud of myself, haha.
This will be our 3rd Cruise during this same week. Weather at the port was COLD both years -- definitely need to keep your sweaters out before your board. This past January, the weather stayed cold and windy through the first day at sea. Once we hit the Caribbean it was lovely. Can't wait to experience it again!

Were First timers too, been doing lots of reading. My Wife and I are excited for the Adult classes you can sign up for.
The most I've seen is around $20 a person, and there are Wine, Beer, different hard alcohol tastings and a Mixology class. Each day you might find a couple to sign up for. We also here the late night club acts are good, I am skeptical in seeing a Juggler or Ventriloquist, but I heard they're good. Lastly, there is a drink passport of sorts, its around $60, and you get a portfolio and stop by the different bars for specialty drinks that have to be checked off. Drinks are included in the price and you get a couple drinks free with it. Its like EPCOT meets Drink around the Ship! And for Star Wars I heard one of the Bars will be dressed up to mimic the Tatooine Cantina Bar (maybe with characters too!)

Thanks for this info. This will be my 4th Cruise, but I hadn't heard of the Passport. Does anyone know how/where to get one?

Wow. You're our resident expert so far hahah! Where are you all from? Most everyone so far is Midwest. That's awesome about finding out Star Wars theme after the fact. We also read on of the bars will be a New Hope Cantina themed, with characters n all
