Fantasy February 16, 2013 - 7 Night Western Cruise Meet

Thanks Jcarwash about the Feb 13 SWA opening. I missed that in my excitement to book our flights! I guess I have to wait a little bit longer.:(

No worries, the next window is opening SOON!
On July 16, 2012, we will open our schedule for sale through March 8, 2013. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

I don't even think that's enough time for the flights I purchased today to post on my Southwest RR Visa! I was hoping to earn some more points and not have to pay out of pocket for the return flight. Oh well!

That is weird about the SWA calendar opening up again a week later!

It's just a guess, but I suspect they didn't want the rush for folks wanting Presidents' Week tickets on top of the normal rush when they open their booking window. The very small extension of the booking window, coupled with the window opening, just a week later are what leads me to that conclusion. Luckily, I'm not trying to get a flight that week, but on either side of that week and my dates are flexible, so I can pick the right flight at the right price!

Thank you so much for the heads up, I had marked my calendar to remind me of the July 9 opening dates not realizing it wouldn't include this week. I figured it would be another month! So marking my calendar for the 16th now. :thumbsup2

I thought the same thing. I was so glad when I came across that info on their site!

Hitting the road in a few hours to get my Disney Fix for 2012.. aaahhhh a week at WDW. The $aving by staying off property this visit is what has funded our ability to go in Feb... So I look at it as 2 trips for the price of 1 :cool1:

Have a Magical Week... pixiedust:

I should have checked it right when I got up...by 9am ET my airport's nonstop flights on 2/14, 2/15, and 2/23 to and from MCO already moved from the lowest "web only" labeled flights to more expensive fares.

Without checking I had this idea they would open the calendar later in the morning, but I was wrong.

Don't wait too long if you are planning on SWA is my advice.

I totally screwed up with Southwest this morning. Good thing they let you change your flights with no penalty! I got up and went right to the computer to book my flights. I was bummed that the flight I wanted (the last one for the day) was $65 more than the lowest priced flight for the day. I went ahead and booked one flight with my Rapid Rewards points, then went back and booked the DH's flight with cash.

Once the confirmation emails showed up, I sent them to my Tripit account and when I looked at my Tripit itinerary, I realized I booked my return flights in the middle of the cruise. I chose the wrong week!! :scared::scared::scared: So, I had to go back and change my flight, then log into the DH's account and change his flight. Ugh!

But, it's all good now. This is why I don't book any of my clients trips before I've been up for at least an hour, showered and had at least one cup of coffee. :thumbsup2 I am soooo not a morning person.

Hi Everyone -

I had stumbled across the SWA date this weekend -- and was able to book this morning, but while I was discussing the flights with my husband the return flight increased $36 :( Later in the day I noticed the flight down went up by $120 (glad I booked when I did)

Happy planning everyone and good luck in securing your flights! :goodvibes

Last year I waited til after work to book our Vero beach trip! It cost us big time! This morning I was up and raring to go. Good thing, price went up 175 each in 8 hours!!! Good luck to everyone on their flights!

Rob & Sue

*sigh*... I had yesterday off from work and completely forgot to check flights until today. Wow! I knew it would be high but that's outrageous. Might not be able to book a direct flight and now need to talk DH into going down a few days early. I'd rather pay the difference in hotel/parks etc than on the flight alone!

FYI for anyone looking at JetBlue for your flights, they are extending their schedule tomorrow at noontime.
Finally.:woohoo:

Noon is a crummy time for me tomorrow, but kayak seems to be leaking the JetBlue fares today (but u can't buy them). Some of the fares are attractive, so I will surely be online tomorrow.

Just bought my airline tickets this morning. Next step, passports.

I assume u r not talking JetBlue.

Jetblue prices are higher than SW!! And of course SW has gone up since I waited for Jetblue to release these dates. I already booked SW for the trip down, but not sure if I should just book SW at the current price or wait a few more days??? They went up $60/person for the return flight I wanted. :(

No, flying out from Seattle on Alaska, Jet Blue isn't really an option from out here. Alaska's schedule is available eleven months ahead, so I'm actually a little behind the game, but I was waiting for enough miles from business travel to rack up for some freebies.
