Me and the wife have planned excursions for GC and Cozumel and were thinking about Castaway Cay. But while looking at reviews and doing other research I noticed that it seems like a lot of cruisers just use the last cruise day at Castaway Cay as a relax on the beach possibly with your favorite beverage kind of day with not to many excursions. Am I wrong or am I right.

My cousin and her family are also booked. We love to travel together, since our DD is an only child, and she enjoys the cousins being with her. We are cat 5A, on 10th floor aft.
We've been busy planning for some excursions...not sure at all about Costa Maya...seems like such a quick stop, what does everyone recommend that would appeal to adults and kids ages 7-9? Is is safe to just explore for a little while on our own? Or maybe just stay on the ship???![]()
Is their any way of knowing which movies will be playing on your cruise ahead of time.
You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

Wreck-It Ralph
Brave
Lincoln (Disney distributes DreamWorks live action films like this)
Frankenweenie
All of our cruises have been President's week. Cozumel & Grand Cayman were beautiful! Temps in the low 80's. I would assume Costa Maya would be the same. It was a little breezy going from Cozumel to Castaway Cay.
My wife usually brings a sweater to the dining rooms. The AC can be a little cool. Formal night makes a great family picture, so it's nice to get all dressed up for that one!

Me and my wife are first time cruisers but big Disney fans. We will be sailing on this cruise with no kids. Anybody else on this cruise had any experience doing DCL with no kids.
Me and the wife are thinking about going all out for pirates night. Do a lot of adults do this or is mostly a kids thing also I have been checking on line for pirate outfits found several sites. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on this.
We will be going all out this sailing. There are a few others on board, traveling with us that will be doing so as well.

CALLING ALL PINK CHAMPAGNE GIRLS!!!!
Hello fellow Fantasy Cruisers! As I mentioned earlier in this thread I am planning to head up a Pink Champagne Girls meet for our cruise. The first Pink Champagne Girls meet on the Fansaty was held in Ooh La La and we were limited to 50 participants. We maxed the 50 and had a wait list going as well.
DCL needed the name and stateroom number of each participant and they charged $20 to each person on the list for the champagne tasting which is normally $25. We requested an afternoon on the first sea day and that was what they gave us. I will make the same request this time as well. They won't give the final details on the request until about 2 weeks before we cruise.
We had a ton of fun on our previous Fantasy Cruise during the Pink Champagne Girls meet. Previous PCG meets organized by fellow DISers have been limited to ladiesonly but I open mine up to the men
as well. But the men must also abide by "the rules"
![]()
The rules are: Everyone brings their own pink shirt or blouse to wear to the meet. Everyone must also wear a tiara and feather boa during the tasting which I will provide and you get to keep
If you wish to participate, please send me an e-mail FantasyFeb16@gmail.com I will need the name(s) of each participant and their stateroom number for DCL. Don't worry, I will not post your information in any public forum.
That sounds great! I hope we have the same great weather! How about on Castaway Cay? Was it nice for swimming?
I thought it was fine for swimming. We were in the water all day! Of course, I am used to New England water!
