In you planning stages don't forget about bringing something (like a plain frame mat with sharpie pens in a plastic envelope ) to customer services on the first day for the characters to sign. Its also nice to drop off a bag of candy with it as a thank you. They will return it to your stateroom on the last day. Obviously put your name and stateroom # on it. Its a great souvenir.

My wife and I moved our October cruise to this one and are excited.

Is there an adult FE group or just one for kids. We are deciding to go to discovery cove before the cruise or not. We are attending a convention a few days before the cruise and heading to Sea world for a day. No Disney World this time, our convention tickets are only good to BG or SW. Has anyone done Discovery cove, how does it compare to the ones in ST Thomas and Martin

My daughther (21) and husband (40) and I (40) will be joining you all on this cruise. We would love to do the fish extender and secret Mickey with everyone. If you would like to participate in Fish Extenders for this cruise..please let me know! I have also set up closed Facebook pages for our sailing..titled "Fantasy Fantastic!!!" and "Fantasy Fantastic Youth!!!" Let me know if you'd like to join and I can send you an invite! Just PM me here or search for the group and ask to be added there..just let me know your Disboard name so we keep it cruising passengers only.

For the FE group...we will limit them to 15 rooms per group. Not many have signed up for our sailing, so we may just have one group! I will need your Disboards name, last name, room number, number of guests participating (we just have my kids do it..but some have pockets for the whole family or just kids etc.) and ages/sex of those participating....we try to give items boys would like and girls would like.

Now, what is a secret Mickey??

From alleluia5 who has done this before she explains it very well! : "Something else we have done in the past is a secret Mickey where everyone is assigned one "family" and you do fun little things throughout the cruise for that family. These things are usually more personal than the FE - the way we did it was to do a little questionnaire to find out what the family likes (ex what kind of candy bar, favorite color and character). For example - put a nice little magnet on their door, maybe sand toys on beach day, home made something, etc. Nothing huge but its kind of fun to adopt one family for the week."

I booked this cruise a few weeks after they announced the itineraries, however I just came across this thread.

This will be my (38) second cruise, although the last one was when I was in high school. It will be my wife's (38), and my son's (4), first cruise and all of our first Disney Cruise! We will be leaving our then 11 month old daughter at home. We booked this to celebrate our 10th anniversary, which will be Sept 1. We are currently booked in room 6670 (cat 8D)

We are a big Disney family and DVC members. We usually go to WDW several times a year.

We are looking forward to really "unplugging" and having a great time.
