A little something about us. We live in Santa Clarita CA. I live with my daughter, Heather. She is a single mother by choice to Jackson. He is the light of our life and keeps us on our toes.
We went to Mexico in Dec. on the Wonder and had a wonderful time. It was our first cruise.
We are originally from the Boston area but love living in CA.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

When we cruised on the Magic in 2009, We had a Pirates in the Caribbean night. I was wondering if this is still true or if there are any other theme nights that I might get prepared for. I made pirate costumes last time, what a job. lol

I am sure there will be a pirate's night. Also I think their is a formal night and a semi formal night.
When I sailed on the Wonder in Dec. we meet at 3 in the lounge. It was really nice to put faces to names. I would suggest a sign on a table as their were other groups there so it was confusing. Also don't forget pen and paper so you can get the changes for staterooms. Also it was suggested that we have a later meet during the wk maybe a lunch meet at the buffet. It was really nice to say hello to people around the ship that we met from the dis. Also a white board on your door letting people know you are going to be at such and such bar later if they want to meet up with you is helpful.

Formal night is night 2 (1st sea day) semi formal is that thurs the 13th, and pirates night is on day 4 same day as St Marteen..

Does any one else have GTY status keep checking their reservation daily to see if they have been assigned a room yet? LOL I know that typically its assigned 45 days prior or even at port but I keep reading of ppl on Oct cruises getting theirs so I keep hoping.. Maybe it just means Im gonna have a great location! DH wants to keep our catergory for the oversized balcony Im hoping to get a higher floor to be closer to the action..lol

Hey Mandy.. Look at us we are all UNDER 6 months!!! LOL

So this week DS is in WDW! He is so like his mom!! Last week Disneyland this week disneyworld.. Im so jealous! Im trying to find a way to swing going to WDW for a few days in June, I dont really like going during the summer b/c of the crowds but now that DD is in high school she really cant miss days and we want to take my step son again, he has only been once and that was to MK last June, he lives in Nashville TN and comes a month out of the summer..Last yr we suprised him and Id love to do the same.. We talked about trying to swing a DCL next summer for a short 3 day cruise on the dream and then 3 days at WDW and all as a suprise for DD and DSS..

My husband and I just switched our Nov 3rd cruise to Sept 8th due to work issues. Doesn't bother me:thumbsup2 the earlier the better. I thought I would join the group. We're sooo looking forward to this cruise. The last cruise we took was in 2001 when our children were young. My husband is excited to be involved with the fish extenders. He's such a crafty guy. We look forward to meeting everyone. We have a cat 6b gty booked. :goodvibes It will be just the 2 of us. Bring on the couples massage.

While the cute baby elephant Dumbo serves as a fantastic stern character, in real life he would have to gather 24,266 other adult male African elephants to match the weight of the Disney Fantasy.

Almost 4 football fields in length, the Disney Fantasy is longer than the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. She is also longer than the height of New York City’s famous Chrysler building.

We will be on this cruise as our son and his fiancée will be getting married. Any other wedding parties on board? So far we have 14 staterooms booked with a few more still deciding. So exciting to have both the wedding and the cruise coming up. Any suggestions as to what we can do to make this cruise special for the bride and groom?

WELCOME!!

How exciting!! What an amazing memory you all will create! :) I would definitely consider gifting them a pass to the rainforest or whatever they call it, or a couples massage, book them a Palo or Remy reservation, definitely let the cruise people know! Sometimes they will announce things like that at the programs at night...plan a cool impromptu song/dance routine for karaoke night and dedicate it to them! :) I know others will have some cool ideas! :thumbsup2 Welcome aboard!!! :)
