Hi everyone! I am VERY new to this whole DIS thing, please forgive me as I work my way around! We will be joining you all on the Sept. 8th Fantasy! I am the DD of Barecuda, my not-so-DH (dont get me wrong, he likes Disney just not as much as I'd like him to! ) and I would love to join in on the FE's, as I have heard thru my DMomma that this will be a fun addition to our trip. We are excited to make this trip, it will be our 2nd DC and both have been without our kids! Thanks for including us!!

We're coming!!!

My wife and just booked (Thanks Teresa!!!) and we couldn't be more excited! Our FE has been sitting in the kitchen for a year and 2 days now and it just misses being on a ship.

I feel so out of touch coming in this late, I've always booked about 18 months out in the past and 4 months seems like so little time to have to wait, and I only have so many posts to catch up on and see who all is coming and what's going on!!! Count us in on the FE's for now, that's a must! (Brandon and Catherine (adults))

Hi all! Signing in to this thread. Me (30) and my mom (60) will be cruising with you. It is our first cruise and we are both celebrating birthdays-her 60th. I am very excited to cruise with the Fantasy- it looks to be an amazing experience.
I did have a question about the process at the port. I have seen mentions about signing up for an embarkation time in advance. How does this work? Any light you can shed would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome. At the time you ck in online there will be a port time assigned/or you pick. I'm not sure which but its one of those.

Welcome aboard!
When you complete your online check in next month you will choose an available Port Arrival Time, your boarding time will correspond with that time and be assigned when you check in at the port. If you arrive earlier than your assigned Port time, you MAY be held outside the terminal if it is too busy and you will likely still have to wait for your boarding slot to come up.

Aloha! DH and I just returned from the inaugural Hawaiian cruise and can now turn our attention to this one. This will be our first Fantasy cruise and we're looking forward to it. We'll be celebrating our 39th anniversary, so although no spring chickens, we are young at heart (aren't all Disneyphiles?).

Wow! You guys snuck in there before I checked! So glad to have you all with us!! For Princess Mindy, yes..at online check in it has you select a boarding time..if you use a travel agent, do you still do online check in? Not sure on that!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm really looking forward to this cruise; the new ship looks beautiful and I want to try that interactive game w/the wall art. Have any of you heard how the food is on the Fantasy (other than Palo and Remy)?

We were on the April 21st sailing of the Fantasy, and we didn't think the food was very good, just so so.

This will be our 2nd Disney cruise for myself, my DH and DS who will be almost 5 at the time of the sailing. We are thinking about joining in on the FE fun this time. May I ask who is collecting the info? I have seen a correspondence between/to a couple of folks and just want to make sure I get it to the correct person. Thanks!
