I like the idea of printing from home for those that want to wear them.

Elaine, I'm also traveling with the AllEars group. Where did you get the card or did you just print that up yourself ... or is it a magnet? Either way I love it!

Someone posted earlier that now we can start saying we will be sailing on the Fantasy next month ... it hit me ... NEXT MONTH. Yea! I am just about finished with my FE gifts .. just need front and back cover printed .. really excited about how they turned out. Kind of worried about how obsessed I have become with watching anything regarding the Fantasy. Since this is our first Disney cruise and we are Disney fanatics we are eating it all up!

Quick question: Do I just let my TA know that we are DVC members? I understand you get a magnet for your door if they know you are members. We are not using points for the cruise so I guess I can have her put somewhere on the reservation, right?

Hi, Its Michele (Shoes99) and I made the magnets on vistaprint.com.
Its fun to make them with their templates, I chose travel and then make up my own.. I made up 50 for our cruise since we are with Deb and the AllEars group..

Can someone please help me figure out how to upload a file? I made an image and created a template but its in Word 2010 and well I am not sure how to share a file?

Here is the image that I created and added to the template:

I used the button we got at the sail-a-bration yesterday and added our date onto it. I had to use the format yyyy/mm/dd because of the space on the button. I then pasted the image onto a template for 3x5 index flash cards but if you resize based on how big of a name tag you want to have you could use a different template.

If someone can help me upload a file from word, then you are free to use the template I made.

Love the pics!!! We didn't get to watch the sailaway so glad I can see these. Can't believe that in ~1.5 months that one veranda will be ours for a week!!!

Feel free to use these or not just thought I'd share what I had come up with.

Biff423---I tried...I did. But Flikr is very restrictive and I cannot post the pic---it won't work with Disboards from what I can tell. I even tried to screencapture your pic and create a new .png file locally. Is there a possibility of you sending me the pic or saving it to Photobucket and emailing me the 'Direct' link?

But I've been wondering what some of the others mean...please share! And Bryan...feel free to share again!

Also, please share one thing that no one here on the boards yet knows about you...it could be that you ran a personal best marathon, or got a doctorate that we don't know about.


Mine---DizDaddy (Tony)...just what it means-----it's pretty obvious, as is our love of everything Disney. I feel very fortunate that we have been able to share all of the Disney experiences with our kids. Hence, I proudly set up DizDaddy when I created my profile. Big (or not so big) reveal: I've even got a Disney tattoo that I've posted on a different thread....it's a Mickey-heads armband. Here it is:

dznyacct ~ Like everyone else here, I LOVE Disney , especially WDW , so that explains the "dzny" part . I am an Accountant, so that explains the "acct" part .

OK, one thing that you don't know about me.......because of my great love of Disney, I celebrated my oldest sister's 60th birthday a few years ago in a special way . All 6 of us (yes, I have 5 sisters ) went to Las Vegas to celebrate her 60th birthday. For a few months beforehand, one of my younger sisters and I started discussing getting older and holding back on things that we wished we had done. That led to some interesting conversations that ended with the thought of getting tattoos in Las Vegas . I knew that mine would HAVE to involve ºoº and it could not be in a conspicuous place (I work with some REALLY conservative Accountants ). I decided on the top of my right foot and my artistic DH Brian drew the design for me. I have the 3 circle ºoº head in solid black and a ribbon like design beneath it that says "DZNYNUT". I have had DZNYNUT as my personalized license plate for ~ 15 years and it describes me perfectly . I love my permanent souvenir, only wishing that I had done it years ago .

I like that tattoo Tony! Very cool - my sister would be jealous - she has a couple of Disney tattoos. My user name is just my first/last names abbreviated - nothing special. I did watch Fantasy leave yesterday - yayyy! I'm catching up on our board while watching ACM awards - life has been too crazy lately. I somehow got myself booked into activites most nights after work and live for the weekend so I can relax.

I like the idea of the name cards for the lanyards - I have no problem with printing out one for myself. I am looking forward to getting to the ship and meeting everyone - that will be my relaxation after a week at WDW and Universal. See you all soon!!

Mine's just my name and my hobby - I collect dragons. I'd like to tell you I go hunting for them every Sunday in England's mountains and forests but of course they're glass, china, pewter, and stone dragons. I also had a Welsh maiden name - Evans - and the dragon is the ancient symbol for Wales. And yes, I love Figment.

My disname: kimistry6 -- obviously my name is Kim and I am a chemist so that's the kimistry part. I am a huge Mark Martin fan and for most of his NASCAR career he drove the #6 car, that's the # 6 part.

SpaceCanada - When I went to Space Camp as a teenager I was the only Canadian there. My fellow team mates called me 'Canada'. I'm a pretty big space nerd/geek and at school I was dubbed 'SpaceGirl'. It didn't take long for the two to merge together.

Random trivia - I was fortunate to return to Space Camp a few more times since and I've been to the Kennedy Space Center to watch a space shuttle launch - STS-118 in 2007. Incredible! So there you go.

I have also been a member of Girl Guides of 22 years! The number plate on my car says 'GRLGIDE' Guiding is a huge part of my life.

I have a quite large Tinkerbell tattoo on my lower leg left that I got two years ago...I just love her!

For my bday this past March we were in Disney World; hubby ordered me a beautiful cake with my tattoo of Tinkerbell on the cake from Boardwalk Bakery - it was so beautiful!!! I am uncertain how to post pictures...sorry!
