I really like being able to identify other DISers. I sometimes attend activities alone and I look for a DISer to sit with. I always know they will be friendly to a stranger and not mind having me join their group!
On other cruises, we've worn green wrist bands, but after a few days it seemed people forgot to wear them. The lanyards are usually on you.
Is there anyone in our group who has the computer design skills to make a nametag we can insert into our lanyards? (This is NOT my area of expertise!)
I've seen the distribution of the tags done in several ways. Sometimes a person stays in the terminal for a preset time and gives them out. I've seen a location on deck where someone gives them out in the late afternoon before the sail away party. Also, the tags can be divided up and volunteers deliver them to your cabin door. (I'd volunteer to help with that. It's a good way to explore the ship.)
WOULD THE GROUP LIKE TO DO THIS?

I can ask my son, (the computer major) to design a spreadsheet for people to use if they would like name tags for their family. He'll be home from school next weekend for Easter if we can decide by then.
So we would need a volunteer that can design the nametags and know how to print them. And then a few people to help distribute them.
Actually, we could also just have the colored tags printed with DIS on it and each person could write their own name on the tag instead of having them totally preprinted. Then we would just need a number for how many to print. We don't want this idea to stress anyone out!
Any other ideas on how to coordinate this??

See you all soon!
