Well, our league is finalized. We have our 12 teams.

Just bumping to remind everyone that our draft is Sunday, March 8th at 6:30 p.m., which is only a week and a half away. I know that not everyone will be able to make it so be sure to pre-rank your players. When ranking, keep in mind that we have two additional categories from the standard 5x5 league as our stat categories also include Holds and OPS. I hope that several players will be able to draft live as that's always enjoyable--a little nerve wracking, but enjoyable.

I know that most of our managers have played before but if anyone is new at this and has any questions that I can help you with, please feel free to ask, either here or on the Yahoo league message board.

Spring training games started today. The season will be here soon!

I've been watching the WBC for a good portion of the day (and wondering if Sideshow Bob was at the USA/Canada game. It was a good one!) I'm watching Italy/Venezuela as I type this. It's so good to watch baseball again.

Any idea why everyone is a free agent except for the people I put a waiver claim in on? There must be a rule I am missing, but I noticed Figment added someone this morning, but the people that I put a claim in on won't process until tonight I think....would I have been better off waiting until this morning and then grabbed them as a FA?

It must have been in the middle of processing as waivers have now been processed too.

In our league settings, post draft players follow waiver rules which is why all players were on waivers following our draft on Sunday. I have to admit that I was a bit surprised to see all players on waivers until today (3/10) though as I set the league waiver time at one day, not at two days. I assumed that all players would be free agents as of Monday, not as of today.

I think my team is decent too and I wasn't able to make it thus used autopick. I like my team better after my waiver pick ups.
