Anyone else doing Nachi Cocum in Cozumel? My family is and it would be cool to meet some DISers there.

Any meets planned, I haven't noticed any in this thread. At the beach on CC, a breakfast on the ship, or maybe an afternoon drink?

I am in full-on planning mode now. I had been working without a fullday off since the middle of April so it was hard to get anything done other than sleep and housework........but now I have time to get excited!

Hi everyone it's been a while since I've been on our page because I've been very busy with end of year school stuff. Hubby and I are offically on vacation now until the end of August and our DD15 just finished her 1st year of high school DH and I are getting excited about our cruise Any thoughts about a meet? On our last cruise we met in the District Lounge the afternoon on boarding day before the life boat drill and sail away party. This is just an idea if others have anything planned or other meeting places please feel free to share Hope everyone has a good start to their summer

Plans have changed. Due to my mom's health, my parents are no longer joining us on our fantasy cruise. My mom will be fine; she just needs time to heal. We have never been on a Disney cruise without them. It is a bittersweet situation I know. I know. There are worse things, and I am so thankful for everything.

Unfortunately, we will have to pull out of the FE. It is a mother/daughter project, and it is not going to work out this time.

I am trying to get back into the excitement of the cruise.

I have sent a couple of private messages to those of you who were looking for some friends for your children to meet before the cruise.
I have 4 kids who keep each entertained but I bet they would love to meet some new friends.

I have a 17 year old daughter named Amanda. She is very outgoing. She is a "drama kid" who preforms in a lot of plays and is Vice-President of her schools Drama Club. She loves the Hunger Games, Baseball, and works at Justice for Girls.

I have a 12 year old son named Derian. He loves on-line gaming. He plays Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and Halo. He is a straight A student (but would rather play games than go to school...hahaha.)

I have a 9 year old daughter named Nikki. She voted "Friendliest" in her class. She loves the Food Network, American Idol (Phillip was her favorite,) and listening to her Ipod (all sorts of music- Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Adele, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Jason Mraz, Florence and the Machine to name a few.)

I have a 7 year old son named Matthew. He was voted most likely to be President. He loves to draw and read. He likes Monkeyquest, Spongebob, Spiderman and has a very active imagination. He loves Spy stuff and solving mysteries.

I have a 17 year old daughter. She is also outgoing. PM me contact information.

IceSk8ersMom - really sorry to hear about your Mum and the changes to your cruise and FE plans. Hope she heals well and quickly.

Sophie has now finished school completely! She was talking today about designing a logo, so watch this space to see if that become reality.

A meet sounds a great idea - the best ones we've been to on previous cruises have been before the safety drill on the first day, gives everyone chance to say hi and then bump into each other throughout the cruise. Would be great to hear what others would like to do!

I am so sorry to hear about your MIL. I am glad that she will be fine! We'll miss you in the FE but I certainly understand.

Summer vacation is right around the corner for you all! My kiddos have been out for almost four weeks now. It's funny how different schedules are around the country.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for an excursion at Grand Cayman; we're thinking about taking a cab to the 'free' beach. We did the dolphin swim / turtle farm last year - was awesome !!

Sophie has spent the day shopping for a dress for a party on Friday but promises to get on with the logo tomorrow! (a girl apparently has to get her priorities right!!! )

I'm not really an arts and crafts kind of gal but I did manage to make something for this FE exchange. My 9 year old was really the one that came up with the idea. I learned that glueguns are not my friend. But I am pleased with the result (beyond my aching, burnt thumbs.)
