Fantasy- 7 night Western- August 4, 2012

Tonight at midnight our booking window opens up so the day will be spent figuring out what we want to do:confused3. Of course we have been thinking and dreaming about them all:rotfl: I hope our computer does not act up tonight:badpc: I hope everyone else who gets to book tonight ( silver cast away club members) get what they want:goodvibes

Good luck! It will work out. Let us know how your bookings go! Sending positive thoughts full of Pixie Dust your way.

:tinker:

I am so glad for all of you, who are paid in full. :thumbsup2
It is such an AWESOME feeling. The exictement is so buidling as my ticker counts down the days, but before our cruise there are so many things to look forward to: graduations, birthdays, trips to Oregon and Las Vegas, 4th of July, etc. What are you looking forward to before our cruise?

There has been some discussion of the spa services. If you are unsure about the services. I recommend the Salon Taster. It is fairly reasonable, and you can only book it onboard. The Salon Taster is a selection of signature services (scalp massage, mini-facial, foot massage, hand massage, hair treatment, eye treatment, and I cannot remember the other two). You can pick 4, 6, or all 8. It all depends on your relaxation desires, and how much that you want to spend. It was so fabulous that I did it on our last two cruises. If you are modest, it might not be for you because it is in the salon not a treatment room, and you wear a robe with very limited clothing underneath.

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! Let's get the party started!party:
Take care and talk to you soon.

This is DD's junior prom. If your kids went to prom, post a picture so we all can enjoy!

Disney site is currently down for maintenance. I hope they get it back up soon. I wanted to check port times again

I am excited too! My DD is staying up with me to make sure we don't sleep through it! Good luck to you too!

Looks like you are going to have a fun and busy summer!

We start out the year touring with DS's orchestra. They will play in Jopin MO, work on a service project for the tornado victims, head down to Memphis to tour and PLAY AT GRACELAND :cool1: (the kid loves Elvis too, I have no idea why!), then over to Nashville where to get to Record in Studio B, see the Nashville Symphony (where they will work with the conductor, go to the Grand Old Opry and play.

And then DD and I are heading down to the keys for a little diving with some buds.

Colorado is next (my DD's varsity team is playing basketball there). My mom lives there so we will all spend some time.

And then.... CRUISING with you fine folks!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOO! What a great end to a crazy, busy, nutty but fun summer. We have never traveled like this before. It's crazy how many things popped up!

Thanks for the info on the Salon Taster. That sounds intriguing.....

Ooooo, I hope the site is working. So, it's 12 eastern right? This is pretty exciting! I hope that everyone gets what they want!

I am looking forward to baseball games and our June cruise to Canada.

Canada cruise? How fun! Is it Disney?

We'll be watching baseball too (as well as a little volleyball and basketball). I love baseball. It's so summertime!

So are you all celebrating PROM in the UK now? It's so much fun!

I have always wanted to visit Ireland. Lucky you!:good vibes

What's the Queen's jubilee?

Oh... Thanks by the way for answering my question on the other thread. I'm telling you, I feel like I am losing my mind sometimes! :confused3

Happy planning everyone!!!!!

I also cannot wait to see the Queen's jubilee events on TV. We, Americans, love the Royal Family. I watched everything there was on TV celebrating William and Kate's one-year anniversary.

Titanic Museum sounds interesting. Cannot wait to hear about it. I went to the traveling exhibit in Vegas, and I found it fascinating.

Graceland is on my bucket list. Diving in the keys sounds like fun. It will get you all fired up for the diving that you will be doing at each port.

DD had so much fun. The prom was at a club in Hollywood, The Loft. At first I coudln't understand why they would have prom at Ann Taylor's Loft, but my DD was quick to tell me that I was not funny. I love her dress too. She will be wearing it for formal night on the cruise.

Thrilled to say DS and I will be on the cruise and joining all of you. It's just the two of us for another mother-son trip...DH gets too sea-sick to risk taking a cruise to Mexico since he's not particulary interested in the itinerary.

Time to book excursions has finally opened for Silver Castaway members! I forgot to turn on the alarm clock, but woke up at 12:07 anyhow. The Secret River excursion in Cozumel is already gone! DS will be so disappointed when he wakes up in the morning.

Anyone know if the possibility of Disney adding more of this excursion exists? I'll keep checking for any possible cancelations, but with thousands of us on the ship, it seems pretty unlikely I'm on at the exact correct moment to snag a spot for 2.

I did manage to get the Palo tea on our last at-sea day. I'll probably feel pretty odd going to it by myself, but I figured I'd never done it and it's the absolute last chance before Disney does away with it.

First of all, :welcome:

I don't want to get your hopes up, but when I checked (at 1am eastern) it was showing availability of the River Excursion. I don't think that it would hurt to keep checking. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Tonight was a great night! I was able to get everything I wanted at the times I wanted. I am totally in shock. I didn't think I'd be able to get any of it!

I am SOOO PSYCHED! Now it really seems real.

I guess I'll be setting the alarm to wake up in a few hours and hope to get an early port time too.

Who needs sleep anyway?

Good luck everyone!

I'm hoping there's a glitch in the system with this one since I saw the 8:15 time each attempt I made to book it. It's once I selected 8:15 and the system checked that I got the message there were no spots available.

Anyone know if I need to (or even can) select an arrival time since I'll be using transfers from WDW? This is our first DCL cruise since the port arrival times thing was instituted as well as first time using the transfers.

Well I can now say this cruise feels very real. I just got done with our on line check in.

I booked our excursions at midnight. I was happy that I could get everything that I wanted. I only saw 2 things sold out Jungle Beach and CM18 Temascal. Sorry I forget which port these were in.

We are doing Sea Trek Helmet Dive in Grand Cayman
Chacchoben Mayan Ruins- Adult only in Costa Maya
Secret River in Cozumel
I was very excited to get a Palo Brunch. I couldn't get one for our June Cruise. I also got a Palo tea. Confused because it didn't have a dollar amount beside it. I am skipping Palo dinner because I want to eat in the main dining rooms and don't want to miss anything. I could have gotten a Remy reservation but I decided to skip it because I don't think DH will want to travel with a suit.

I was able to get the first port of arrival showing on my screen which was 11:00. I don't know if that means this is truly the earliest time or if this is what is now left. Did anyone get a earlier time? Anyone know if we can still check in earlier than that at the airport. We are staying over night at the airport.

I hope this makes sense. I am very tired. Back to bed.
I hope that everyone gets what they want when you book
Vicki

I think you still select a arrival time. But I am not completely sure

Palo's High Tea is good. The strawberries and cream dessert was delicious. We had a great time. It was a nice break from the hot tropical sun.
