Hi, I have not checked in in a while. We are Rick and Tanya from Austin, TX. This is our 3rd Disney Cruise, and our 8th cruise total. We are sailing with our girls this time ages 4 & 8.
Just booked Palo, it looks like the only night left is the last night, so we took it. Is there a meet up on the ship? We've done that with several other lines, but never with Disney.

we are traveling with our 4yo DD as well! i'm sure they will cross paths in the kids club at some point!

We are planning a meetup, but the location is yet to be determined. Right now, the plan is for something like 3pm-ish until we get close to muster drill time. The question is whether to meet on the pool deck (where it will be more crowded) or indoors on one of the lower decks. I don't know if any of the clubs on deck 4 will be open prior to sailing, but that may also be an option. I'm interested in your opinions!

Several years ago we went on our first Disney cruise and had late seating with a three and five year old. It was very difficult for us and we swore to never do it again. I regretted not speaking to guest services upon boarding to change our time. If you have to, do it! I met a family on the ship that brought a doctor's note just in case they wouldn't budge. What the note consisted of, I am not sure. However, it is something you can try for one night. Some like to have more time to get ready for dinner after being at the port all day. We like to eat early and enjoy the ship rather than going to bed on a full.stomach. We are on a waiting list for early dining. Wish us luck!!

We are in 9006, and are bringing my niece and nephew too, (age 8 and 6) in room 9008. We are all driving down from north carolina the day before. Anyone else driving in early? How far away/where are you going to stay?

We're driving down from Charlotte, NC on Friday! What part of NC are you from? We're staying at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach.
