Fantastic and Paint The Night

Does DL still have the rule where Mickey and the other characters can only be in one place at a time? Just saw the schedule and Paint the Night is at 8:50pm and Fantasmic at 9:00pm. Conflict? Mickey is at the beginning and end of Fantasmic. In the HK version of PtN, Mickey and characters are at the end of the parade. Unless PtN is 10 mins long, this will lead to two Mickeys in the park at the same time.

DL has a "rule" where you cannot see the same character twice at the same time. So if F! and Paint the Night were visible from the a common location, there would be an issue. However, the parade route and the F! viewing areas do no overlap, so you cannot see both shows. It's the same reason as to why the characters can continue to greet guests while parades and/or shows are going on...you cannot see them in both locations at the same time.
