What would be the best night to go see Fantasmic? The least busy? we will be there August 8-12th and have a five day hopper pass through the military. I would like to do the Fantasmic dinner package but man is that expensive. We may just try to wait in line. Also do you actually wait in line or do you go in and sit and wait for an hour or so before the show starts? If that is the case I will just go fetch us some food and sit down for a bit of a picnic dinner? Please help me decide.

It probably won't matter which night you choose. According to the Disney site, Fantasmic! is shown at 9 PM each night. You could get in line a couple of hours before the gate opens. Grab some food and eat it while in line. Take books along to read. You don't say whether there are children involved; this complicates a long wait in line.

Good luck

Your best bet is to ask a CM at the entrance about how much ahead of time you should be there. I've been reading that recently it's been 30-60 min. When we were there 2 years ago I think we got there @ 45 min before. It's a good idea to take in dinner, that would kill the time.

Another possible option is that on some Tuesdays they do the show twice, at 9:00 & 10:30. The late show is a lot less crowded.

Even if you do have to kill a long time in line or sitting there, the show is worth the wait!!!!!!!

I believe they let you enter the arena and get your seats up to an hour before the show so you can get your family situated then run across they way and get hot dogs or fries or burgers. You should arrive on the line at lease an hour in advance. That is what I usually do and we don't stand for long before they let us go in.

By the Way...The show is definitely worth the wait do not miss it.

The best night to see Fantasmic is any night where there is more than one showing. Subsequent showings are always less crowded.
