Fantasmic/Wishes/Illuminations

I know it's still early since we're going to WDW in September, but how can you tell when the Fantasmic, Wishes Fireworks and Illuminations shows are scheduled? I looked on the disney website and I know their park schedules are not posted yet, but when they are, how can I tell? Do the start a couple of hours before closing or when closing? So far I can't seem to figure it out. We're going Sept 18-Sept 25.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Once the park schedules for that month are posted, you just click on a date on the calendar, and a screen will come up showing the parade and night time show schedule for that particular day.

Oh, and generally, Illuminations is usually at 9 p.m. (park closing time for Epcot), Fantasmic is around 7 p.m., and Wishes is around 8 or 9 unless the park is open later.

We were there in September last year. As Pixie glitter said, Illuminations were always at 9pm. Unfortunately for us last year, Wishes hadn't been developed yet so I think there was only one day when there were fireworks at MK and we missed that day. The problem with September is that the parks usually close earlier but it doesn't get dark until later. It seems that since they introduced Wishes, it is shown either at the official park closing time or within 15 minutes of the official park closing time. As for Fantasmic, it is either one show close the official park closing time or, on busy days, two shows - in September, I would guess MGM will be closing around 7:30 each night so there would be one show around that time.....speaking of PS, in case you aren't aware, you can purchase a dinner package in MGM that will include a reserved seat to Fantasmic.
