Fantasmic, Wishes, ELP May 21 - 25

Looking at taking a trip to DL around this timeframe. According to the DL site, both Fantasmic and ELP will show Fri - Sun. It doesn't list anything for Wishes (I don't think the site lists Wishes at all). I thought at one point in the busy time DL did all 3 of these every night - not just on the weekends. But I don't know if I've made that up in my head or read that somewhere before. The other two times we've been to DL, Fantasmic was down for rehab.

Anyone able to comment from the past?

Well, Disneyland doesn't have Wishes, it has "Believe. . .There's Magic in the Stars." You could say that it's the "mother" of Wishes, as Wishes is somewhat similar to it (At least that's what I've heard, Haven't seen Wishes yet). Anyway, I'm hearing that the fireworks aren't going to start until the summer. I'm not sure if they did all three at one time or not. I'm sure someone else knows, though.

Firefly was right about Wishes/Believe. And I have yet to see a fireworks show besides Illuminations that is better than Believe. It sounds like you will be there over Memorial Day. I'd double check on Believe...There's Magic In The Stars. I saw the ELP when it came to DCA in 2001. Don't stress too much about getting a good view for this parade. We walked up and sat down on the ground as the floats passed by, and just before the parade started as well.

As for Fantasmic, if you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend you try the Dessert buffet. It's a bit pricey at $47 per person, but it offers the best view of the show, with a seat! And some incredible desserts to boot.

If Believe is showing. The Main St. Train Station (upper level) is probably the best view. Also good is Fantasyland.
