To your point, I guess most grand villas have 4 full bathrooms.



Would be an interesting poll? I have only stayed in one grand villa at RIV - and it was just awesome. Tomorrow will be the 2nd grand villa I have ever stayed in when I check in to Aulani. That said, I have booked GVs at AKV and BLT later this year. I keep missing my chance to stay at VGF GV - every time it's available I can't make it and every time I can make it one of you animals already booked it!

As cool as GVs are everywhere, my current favorite spot is the Copper Creek Cabin at WL - we are there a lot!

AKL (Kidani & Jamba), VGF, BLT, OKW and SSR. At least according to google.

So…. 4 out of 14… roughly a third of them…. definitely not “most”…. and most of the ones with 4 bathrooms are 2 floors… whereas Aulani is only 1 floor…

I just don’t see the need for the Aulani GV to be catching strays over the number of bathrooms. The quality of the bathrooms is also very high….. at least in the 2 that I have slept in.

Good to know about VGF…. that’s still on the bucket list… but I know their 2BDs only have 2 bathrooms….

It's really nice because you can use the "TV room" as a 4th bedroom and no one is sleeping in the living room.

Add VGC and VDH to this list. The 4th bathroom at VDH doesn't have a bath or shower but the VGC one has a shower.

I have no idea what your point is. Most grand villas have more than 3 bathrooms - what difference does it make how many floors they are?

No… no they don’t. Most Grand Villas do not have more than 3 bathrooms. It is actually highly unusual for a one story Grad Villa to have more than 3 bathrooms. It is only normal for the 2 story Grand Villas to have more than 3 bathrooms.

Haha I was wondering what your earlier reply was about. I have a little time now to read some of the threads to catch up but still not enough time to read all of them so I was a bit lost. During our last stay in the RVA Grand Villa I was daydreaming on ways they could sneak in an extra 3/4 bath into that room. IMO it would be nice to have that extra bathroom in all of them.

Oh, I agree that it would be great if they all had 3.5+ bathrooms.

But we never felt like we didn’t have enough bathrooms at Aulani with 6 people…. essentially each bedroom has a bathroom.

Now once you start packing bodies into rooms…
